Question about File:Marsile de Padoue 1319.jpg
[edit]Hello, I noticed you added the File:Marsile de Padoue 1319.jpg image to the Marsilius of Padua page, and I'm wondering if you know the source of the image. I just find the image quite unusual for such an old piece of art, as it's blotchy style weirdly enough kind of reminds me of pop art. Thanks! Gaismagorm (talk) 16:43, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
- You're right. The image seems to have been modified someway, although I'm pretty sure it represents Marsilius of Padua. I think it is taken from a paperback edition published in Italy by the publishing house Rizzoli some years ago, since the style reminds me that of the volumes of the Biblioteca Universale Rizzoli. 87.9.61.138 (talk) 17:01, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
- alright, thank you for the answer! Gaismagorm (talk) 17:02, 17 July 2024 (UTC)
