Free Cannabis Party
Hi Ishdarian,
Sorry mate I'm a little new to how this all works... I'm not fully aware of why the Free Cannabis Party Entry has been deleted. The group is starting to make some headway in Victoria, Australia as a new upcoming political party (which hopes to contest next years state elections). Can you let me know why exactly the Free Cannabis Party is not allowed to be added to the Wikipedia archives?

Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
We are currently running a study on the effects of adding additional information to SuggestBot's suggestions. Participation in the study is voluntary. Should you wish to not participate in the study, or have questions or concerns, you can find contact information on the SuggestBot study page.
IMPORTANT CHANGES: We have modified the selection of articles SuggestBot suggests and altered the design to incorporate more information about the articles, as described in this explanation.
Note: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information.
Changes to SuggestBot's suggestions
We have changed the number of suggested articles and which categories they are selected from. The number of stubs has been greatly reduced, the number of articles needing sources doubled, and two new categories added (orphans and unencyclopaedic articles). We have also modified the layout of the suggestions and added sortable columns with various types of information about each article. The first two columns are:
- Views/Day
- Daily average number of views an article's had over the past 14 days.
- Quality
- Predicted article quality on a 1- to 3-star scale. Placing your cursor over the stars should give you a pop-up describing the article's quality (Low/Medium/High), current assessment class, and predicted assessment class.
The method we use to predict article quality also allows us to assess whether an article might need specific types of work in order to improve its quality. The work needed might not correspond to cleanup tags added to the article, since our method is not based on those. We have added five columns reflecting this work assessment, where a red X indicates improvement is needed. Placing your cursor over an X should give you a pop-up with a short description of the work needed. The five columns seek to answer the following five questions:
- Content
- Is more content needed?
- Headings
- Does this article have an appropriate section structure?
- Images
- Is the number of illustrative images about right?
- Links
- Does this article link to enough other Wikipedia articles?
- Sources
- For its length, is there an appropriate number of citations to sources in this article?
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. We appreciate that you have signed up to receive suggestions regularly, your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping!
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please let us know on SuggestBot's talk page. Regards from Nettrom (talk), SuggestBot's caretaker. -- SuggestBot (talk) 00:27, 4 October 2013 (UTC)
New Page Patrol
Hi. I'm just wondering how you came to tag a blatant sam for a watch as A7 (band). I understand and appreciate your enthusiasm but please do not patrol any pmore pages until your have read and thoroughly understood both WP:NPP and WP:Deletion. If you need any help don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 10:10, 4 October 2013 (UTC)
- Hi User:Kudpung. I'm not sure what you mean by blantant sam. Spam, perhaps? When you tag a page using the curator as A7, it doesn't specifically let you choose person, band, org, etc. Perhaps that's where you are confused? I tagged the page as A7 because the company, HYT, didn't assert significance. Hope that clears things up! Ishdarian 10:15, 4 October 2013 (UTC)
- I meant 'spam'. It wasn't an A7 (significance orimortance). The Page Curation tool contains WP:G11 (advertising). A quick look at the linked web site would have confirmed. There is more to doing NPP than meets the eye ;) Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 10:22, 4 October 2013 (UTC)
- (Ping Kudpung): Would you mind restoring the page in my userspace momentarily so I can take a peek? Ishdarian 10:24, 4 October 2013 (UTC)
- Unfortunately no - deleted is deleted, but as you are interested, this is the web site that was linked to. Please take my advice and read the pages I linked to and if you find the Page Curation tool bar or the CSD criteria difficult to understand, just ask me. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 10:32, 4 October 2013 (UTC)
- I'm sorry but, from what I remember of the page, it was for the company itself, which is why I tagged it as A7. I understand your concern, but I believe you're wrong on this one. Ishdarian 10:39, 4 October 2013 (UTC)

The first sentence was HYT wathches (alternatively, The Hydro Mechanical Horologists), is a high-end watch manufacturer known primarily for their use of liquids in their otherwise purely mechanical movements. Therefore criterion A7 would seem to apply to this. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 11:56, 4 October 2013 (UTC)

Undead Generation article and its possible speedy deletion
Hi there, Ishdarian. I am not yet finished editing the article and I continue to add more relevant and important information each day whenever I manage to get a chance. Please be lenient and allow the page to remain on Wikipedia. I left a contested deletion post with further details to help improve my argument. If you feel that the information is not sufficient or is unimportant, keep in mind that I am still working on the article and its contents. Roscoe567 (talk) 11:52, 4 October 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Roscoe. I've just double-checked the article and it still makes no claim of significance. Articles on Wikipedia need to be reliably sourced as well, and the UG article is currently only sourced to the band's Facebook page. If you like, the page can be moved into your userspace so that you can continue working on it to get it ready to be published, however, as the article stands at present, it doesn't seem likely to survive. Clip Studio Paint page redirect
Good morning, This morning I've done my first Wiki page ( https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Clip_studio_paint ) but after 5 minutes, the page was directed to Manga Studio. It's important, in my opinion, the readers can read every version, especially if this is the original version of the described software. Manga Studio, up to the previous version, had totally another interface. Please considering to don't redirect my Clip Studio Paint, for a regular and free information. I wish you a good day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tommaso Renieri (talk • contribs) 13:09, 4 October 2013 (UTC)

Cloud Commander
Why have you deleted article about Cloud Commander? Wiki is free encyclopedia and everyone could write articles in it. I have a lot of contributions and articles. I always fix typos on wiki. So I do not understand why can't I write article about this program? And what is the difference between it and Midnight Commander or Total Commander? Is them is encyclopedia articles? You even do not give me time to write something more.
Wikipedia is not what it was a couple years ago. I thought that it's a free knowledge but I see that it is not. Bureaucrats think that they know all about what should and what should not be in Wikipedia is rule now.
And regular people like me could not write articles anymore. It is very sad. Shame on you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mn3m0n1c 3n3m1 (talk • contribs) 07:00, 9 October 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Mn3m0n1c 3n3m1. I had tagged your article for speedy deletion because it was outright promotional. Thank you for linking your website as well, since some of the material was also a copyright violation, which I had missed previously. Wikipedia is a free encyclopedia, but we have standards for what is appropriate for inclusion and, unfortunately, the CC article didn't meet those standards. If you wish to try recreating the article, I would suggest reading WP:FIRST and using the Articles for Creation space, where other editors can review your work before it is moved into mainspace. On a final note, using your blog in an attempt to gain support in intimidating or bolstering your position will backfire. Please read WP:CANVASS. Ishdarian 10:08, 9 October 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Ishdarian, which materials that was a copyright violation are you talking about? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mn3m0n1c 3n3m1 (talk • contribs) 10:44, 9 October 2013 (UTC)
And by the way you did not answer what is the difference between Cloud Commander page and Total Commander page? This two is file managers, but one is commercial and second is Open Source. Why pages about all possible file managers should exist and Cloud Commander should not? Or you want to say that they are do not promotional? They are the same. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mn3m0n1c 3n3m1 (talk • contribs) 10:49, 9 October 2013 (UTC)
- First, everything in the functions and benefits sections were copied word-for-word from your website. Secondly, the TC article isn't the best, but it's not flatout promotional. I don't know if it would survive AfD, but just because this page exists doesn't mean that your page should automatically be there as well. Ishdarian 11:08, 9 October 2013 (UTC)

Cloud Commander
Hello. Wiki is a free encyclopedia. And this article must be there. By the way Cloud Commander is free, like Wikipedia. Yes it is very young file manager. But it is very innovating, because of use JavaScript and Node.js. Do you know any similar file manager? There are useful tools in Cloud Commander for that administrators use. And I use this program for everyday needs. I know people who use it too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ldgoust (talk • contribs) 14:37, 9 October 2013 (UTC)

QUESTION
Hi, I'm new to Wikipedia and I'm trying to create this page. I would like to know if you can tell me why you feel you want to delete the page?
Also, if you could give me more time to upload content you will see it is appropriate for Wikipedia. I'm just not familiar with all the editing so that's why is taking me so long to add stuff.
Thanks,
Waicstechsupport — Preceding unsigned comment added by Waictechsupport (talk • contribs) 16:07, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Waictechsupport, and welcome to Wikipedia. So, there are several things to go over. First, Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously. The entire body of text you put in the article was directly copied and pasted from the WAIC website. This leads into the second issue: the article reads as a promotion piece, and Wikipedia also has guidelines on promotionalism. Lastly, your username indicates that you may work for the company. Please read up on the conflict of interest guideline. If you have any other questions, please let me know. Ishdarian 16:13, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
Oh Ok! I understand now! I do not work with Workmen's I just thought I needed to create a related account so that I can create the page. Can I change my user name then? Also, if I delete the history and work on it later will my page still be deleted? Any help you can give me will be REALLY appreciated! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Waictechsupport (talk • contribs) 16:20, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
- To request a username change, head over to WP:CHUS, where the requests are handled. So, the article is already in mainspace, which is a problem. If the article is deleted, you'll have two choices. One, head over to Articles for Creation, where other editors will evaluate your article and give you pointers on how to proceed. Two, you can create a draft article in your userspace, something like User:Waictechsupport/Workmen's Auto Insurance Company. This will allow you plenty of time to work on the article without fear of it being deleted (unless there are more copyright violations!) Ishdarian 16:27, 14 October 2013 (UTC)

Zach.Bocian/Elon University School Of Law Contribution
I posted the latest major revision to the Elon School of Law article that you took down after a short period of time, yesterday afternoon. I think the copyright issue lies in the fact that I forgot to place quotes around the mission statement. I took it exactly as it is seen on the School's website. Other than that I can't find any other copyright issues with the post, unless there is a word/character limit to how much I can quote from an existing article.
I'd appreciate any help you can provide.
Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zbocian (talk • contribs) 20:05, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
