License tagging for Image:TB Display big.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:TB Display big.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 01:12, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on True Blunts, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Eliz81(talk)(contribs) 05:26, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
Regarding Alevism
[edit]Thanks for telling me your concern. I am well aware what many people think about Ataturk, and I am well aware of his reforms. He is an important figure in the Alevi Shi'ah Muslim faith, please look that up. Alevis do not do hijab, and supported many of his secular policies and consider him a great man. Thanks for your message, I suggest you research it yourself. Even the Alevi article clearly states, "Alevi communities are strong supporters of Kemalism due to its strong secularist ideology." I designed the entire template, not just parts of it, I was not being biased. He is disliked and hated by non-Turkish Sunnis, not by Alevi Shi'ah, Ismaili Shi'ah, or other secular Muslims. --Enzuru 17:57, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Criticism of Islam
[edit]Thanks for your kind words regarding the template. As for the criticism of Islam, that's a very intriguing point. However, I am quite sure it has been discussed before, and certain conclusions were reached, but I can't recall why. However, why don't you check out the Criticism of Christianity page, and tell me what you think. --Enzuru 22:27, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
Criticism
[edit]Both Islam and Christianity articles no longer have a criticism section, and now both templates do. I just checked. It looks like the problem has already been dealt with. --Enzuru 15:19, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Comparison of programming languages
[edit]Thank you for your work on the article. However, I think 6 columns is a tad too wide for most screens. I'm sure that there are two programming languages on the list that really are not as impressive or noteworthy as the rest. I personally think 100 is a nice round number for the article. Which languages do you think are the least noteworthy - either syntactically or semantically? JScript? Windows Powershell? Perhaps Pascal and Object Pascal can be combined into one item? What do you think? Have a great day. -DevinCook (talk) 05:50, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
Stop your editting of this article. You can try to hide the truth but you have to face the fact that in the Islamic world Christianity is persecuted. This man has been murdered, the least we can do is leave the article alone and his message intact. Tourskin (talk) 05:14, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for your chivalrous response but Zorastrians did not persecute christianity exclusively, only Catholics. They in fact had their own Church, the Assyrian Church of the East - ironically it was the Chaldean and Assyrian Churches who were not persecuted at the beginning until the Islamic world arrived. Iran under the Sassanids persecuted Roman Christians of the Catholic Church; the Assyrian Church of the East, an ancestor of the Chaldean Church did not experience such persecution.
