Article improvement tags
[edit]When adding tags that are opinion, such as {{POV}} or {{Unreliable sources}}, you are required to explain them on the talk page of the article. Otherwise they may be removed. As the notes say for the POV tag, "Drive-by tagging is strongly discouraged. The editor who adds the tag should discuss concerns on the talk page, pointing to specific issues that are actionable within the content policies. In the absence of such a discussion, or where it remains unclear what the NPOV violation is, the tag may be removed by any editor." Thanks, Black Kite (talk) 13:25, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you, I will keep this in mind for the future. However, I have noticed that many senior editors also tag articles this way, even though they don't provide any explanation on the article's talk page. Jannatulbaqi (talk) 13:59, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
