New histmerge feature

Hi Mikaey. You might already know about this (and if so, please feel free to ignore this), but there's a new feature that can help with histmerges in some cases, Special:MergeHistory. Check out Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Archive263#A Wikipedia feature I just discovered today - good for history merges for a little bit of discussion about it if you're interested. Cheers, Jenks24 (talk) 11:23, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

Interesting! No, I didn't know about this one. (I'm not up on the administrator noticeboards, sadly...real life takes up too much of my time.) Interestingly, it doesn't make any sort of log entry on the target page (although it does put something in the page logs for the source page...along with a handy little "Unmerge" link). Thanks for letting me know about this! Mikaey, Devil's advocate 17:26, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

Listasbot

Shows as inactive. Can you restart it? The list of "listas" in the Bio Project templates is 60k+. Thanks. – S. Rich (talk) 20:08, 3 August 2014 (UTC)

I'll look into it, but not right away. I would need to run it past WikiProject Biography to see if they still want this bot run...I would probably need to run it past the Bot Approvals Group as well (since the bot hasn't run in over 4 years). Right now, schoolwork is sucking up a lot of my time, and I don't know that I have time enough to dedicate this, but I'll look into it in a couple of weeks here when I have a break. Thanks so much. It won't matter if the backlog grows by a few more 10k. Get those good grades before doing anything else. – S. Rich (talk) 21:20, 5 August 2014 (UTC)
