Hello!

[edit]

Hi there, I just wanted to drop you a line regarding the Daniel Sieradski, your biographical article. I wanted to let you know that Wikipedia has some guidelines for people who have a conflict of interest. I'm not leaving this message as a warning, but there have been some concerns regarding the edits you've made to the article. Some of those concerns have come from people who seem to have a grudge against you and may have been trying to defame you and have also tried to have the article deleted. But concerns have also been raised by established editors. The guidelines suggest that in regards to your own biography that you should restrict your contributions to the talk page if at all possible. Minor, non-controversial edits to the article itself are fine, and I doubt anyone would object if you fixed typos, or reverted vandalism. But substantial expansion of the article itself is discouraged. I think this dramatic deletion discussion regarding the article might draw more attention to you and I would suggest that you refrain from making major edits to the article in the future. Rest assured that any attacks made against you on the article are against policy and other editors will help you if asked (in particular, the BLP noticeboard is meant to help with inappropriate edits at biographies of living persons). If you have any questions about this please let me know, and you can also comment at the current notice placed about your article at the conflict of interest noticeboard. Thank you! -- Atama 23:50, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
