Re: Your email

[edit]

I got your email this morning so I went and took a look at the The Big Hurt (band) article. It looks like because of the sites you linked to, an automated bot thought you were a link spammer. It left you a message, right above this one, talking about some of the general practices with links. Just so happens when it reverted those links, it took out your references too. I went ahead and put the references back in, with inline citations, and cleaned up the links and the article in general. Check it out to see what I did! Hope you like it, and keep up the good work! Don't hesitate to get back in touch with me if you need anything else! Ioeth (talk contribs friendly) 15:05, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Image:BHB.jpg

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Image:BHB.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:

  • state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • add the relevant copyright tag.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[Talk:Image:BHB.jpg|the article's talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Billy from The Big Hurt 2006.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 20:08, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
