Oh and congrats on creating your first article! Phgao 01:06, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The text you added had malformed tags and wasn't encyclopedic in tone. You linked to an article and then gave personal commentary about the article. As the information you have added to that article as well as others always includes links to the same website, I have to ask if you have a conflict of interest. regarding your edits,

I encourage you to keep up with your efforts to edit and add to the Permaculture article.

Belief polarisation

[edit]

Hi Permacultura, I have shifted "Belief polarisation" to Attitude polarization (shifting to the 'z' somewhat reluctantly) as this seems to be the more commonly used term, and expanded the article. No longer a stub! Best, Anarchia 07:32, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Star Wars

[edit]

I made a tiny change to the Star Wars page (after going there with my intelligent 8 year old son and seeing it through his eyes). But my edit was undone by User:Rm w a vu.

(It is in the 4th paragraph of the Original Trilogy section, at http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Star_Wars&oldid=209823511#Original_trilogy).

I'd like to argue with this, but I'm not educated enough to be able to be sure I've got an argument. Permacultura (talk) 05:40, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Syncsta

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Syncsta, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Not notable per WP:MUSICBIO. Only coverage is on Youtube (unreliable) and 'entertainment gossip mag' Now magazine ("tabloid journalism" per WP:NOT#NEWS)

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the dated prod notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Speedy deletion of "International Continence Society"

[edit]

A page you created, International Continence Society, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how it is important or significant, and thus why it should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for companies in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. Falcon8765 (talk) 16:59, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why?

[edit]

Why did you remove the speedy deletion tag from this blatant hoax article Redclover? <>Multi-Xfer<> (talk) 07:47, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Dear User:Multixfer, I did not remove the CSD tag from that page. I've never heard of it before. You must have the wrong person. - Permacultura (talk) 14:56, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Permacultura. You have new messages at Kirill Lokshin's talk page.
Message added 11:28, 6 October 2009 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the Talkback or Tb template.[reply]

Thanks for your contribution to the List of banned films article. Please note that any additions to an article on Wikipedia must be verifiable through reliable sources. I have removed the addition you made, since there have been a lot of films added which were actually not banned (I'm not accusing you of this) added to this article. For this reason, any additions that do not have sources and/or citations I am removing. Here's the addition you made, please feel free to re-add it, but provide proof that each of the films are banned.

The Chinese Film Bureau denies permission for some Chinese-made films to be screened in China, including award-winning films such as The Days, Fish and Elephant, Devils on the Doorstep, Frozen and Lost in Beijing. The Film Bureau has blacklisted award-winning Chinese film-makers such as Wang Xiaoshuai and Jiang Wen, and asks to see the scripts of films before they are made, such as Wong Kar-wai's In the Mood for Love, interfering with films that do ultimately gain screening permission.

[2]

Thanks again for your contribution. Please feel free to respond here or on the article's talk page, where I have outlined why I have taken this stance. If you need help with citing sources, I am more than willing to help. Thanks! Joshua Scott (talk) 01:54, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Joshua, thanks for your polite, diplomatic and clear explanation of your reasons for removing some of my additions to the List of banned films article, "China" section. For me, this is another little lesson on my long journey learning how to edit Wikipedia articles. In this case, I have learned that other Wikipedia articles are not in themselves WP:V or WP:RS; a point that is obvious now that I think about it. Sadly, (& brutally), for this particular contribution of mine, most of my sources were other Wikipedia articles. Perhaps I'll take the time to locate reliable sources for at least some it, as I'm off to China soon for a brief visit, my first. - Thanks again - Adam, Permacultura (talk) 16:12, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Elf punk has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

What little that is notable here should be added to the appropriate subsection in the Cyberpunk derivatives article. Most of this is supposition, opinion, external links, and one useful quote from Michael Swanwick.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources as references. We typically use review articles, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations (There are several kinds of sources that discuss health: here is how the community classifies them and uses them). WP:MEDHOW walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here. The edit box has a built-in citation tool to easily format references based on the PMID or ISBN.

The issue is that you demanded to know my Wikipedia page in real life after a high school class three years ago and have an odd habit to, at random times, leave unnecessary messages on my talk page, despite my best efforts to show disinterest. ...
and any further comment on the issue in question was not necessary whatsoever, especially considering it was closed a month ago.
It's not about communication on Wikipedia. It's about unsettling behaviour. - AndreyKva (talk) 12:01, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
 • Wow! Big apologies, Andrej (talk). I'd never, in a million years, have been able to pick up your "disinterest" vibes! I can see now that I should have interpreted your responses as "curt", rather than as shyness. But even then, a curt response might just imply a busy person (exams pending, baby crying, etc etc).
In my world, its OK to, "at randomly times", drop a "remember me? how you going?" message on an acquaintance with whom I haven't been in communication for a year or two. For the plain and simple purpose of maintaining contact with a fellow human being with whom I once had an interesting interaction (a single conversation in a backpackers in Jakarta, on a Reddit forum on permaculture in Cuba, at a 5rhythms dance class, or in the comments to Facebook post on Carbon neutral hydrocarbons from DAC. In this way, I maintain contact with a diverse array of awesome comrades around the world. I had thought you were one such person. Sorry :-(
