I just thought it would be a good idea to add the Ukrainian cognate (чоловік) to this table for the sake of comparison. Чоловік means "man" but so does the Russian человек in many instances. 84.251.161.164 (talk) 17:58, 18 September 2017 (UTC)

9/12/2017-------I just saw your comment about removing my comment on the Miss America 2018 page.....I did not expect them to remain there, only so that someone who posted the Non-Finalist Interview info with TBA would see my comments and remove that award mention. There will NOT be a Non-Finalist Interview award this year.....if you bothered to call the national office of Miss America as I DID, they could tell you as they told me today, there was no funding of this Interview award this year, hence no award. So whoever that know-it-all that put on that Interview award mention can just take it off....or I will ask who won it in about six months from now....and it will be the same answer then as today, no one....as no funding was for this non-finalist award. OK? So, ok to take off my comments on Miss America 2018 and here on this board----but there is no award this year....call the pageant offices to ask as I did. Ok?

Hey I was wondering what the copyright violation was for the change I made with this edit to Atlassian. - @Jjl284: Hello, this addition contains largely the same content as this page and thus is a copyright violation. Meanwhile, it's in a promotional tone and therefore should not be added to an encyclopedia article (see WP:SPAM and WP:NPOV). Also FYI, to sign your comment, you can type four tildes (

User talk:NoOtherClub97
When you warned NoOtherClub97 User talk:NoOtherClub97 (level two and three it appears) using Huggle, do you recall which template you applied? The template seems to be conflating disruptive editing and vandalism. It shouldn't (see Wikipedia:Disruptive editing). I want to see if I can get that template fixed. Walter Görlitz (talk) 00:51, 22 September 2017 (UTC)
- Walter Görlitz: Hello, the template is apparently the Huggle-customized {{uw-vandalism2}}. There are a few things I have considered before reverting.
- User changing the image to a non-existent one
- Changing name to something different from the article's title
- Changing owner to Sporting Kansas City which is an opponent of New York Red Bulls
- User has been warned for non-constructive editing before doing the same thing again
- Based on these editing behaviors, I was considering the edit as vandalism, however it is also likely to be a borderline case so disruptive editing fits. Related diffs: 1, 2, 3.
- But anyways, there are several revert reasons given by Huggle you can choose, each corresponding to a specific warning template (assuming all lv1):
- Removal of AfD template - {{uw-afd1}}
- Personal attacks - {{uw-npa1}}
- Inappropriate biographical content - {{uw-biog1}}
- Blanking pages - {{uw-blank1}}
- Removal of content - {{uw-delete1}}
- Factual errors - {{uw-error1}}
- Biased content - {{uw-npov1}}
- Spam - {{uw-spam1}}
- Removal of speedy deletion template - {{uw-speedy1}}
- Editing tests - {{uw-test1}}
- Failing to cite a reliable source - {{uw-unsourced1}}
- Vandalism - {{uw-vandalism1}} - this is the same as pressing the revert button (default is Q) but has a different edit summary
- Above are the only options I can choose from Huggle as a revert reason, and there is no "Disruptive editing". I do agree that Huggle can introduce a new revert reason with the {{uw-disruptive1}} template. Thanks! -★- PlyrStar93. →Message me. ← 02:22, 22 September 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'm not questioning why you placed the template, uw-disruptive would be the one I would place as well, my issue is with the template's content, and I don't think you have anything to do with that. I checked the templates and didn't see that text, but I'll raise it there. For the record, I use twinkle. Walter Görlitz (talk) 03:37, 22 September 2017 (UTC)

Vandalism is forcibly rejecting a documented opinion writer
A CNN-quoted columnist (Magid) called 98 First Edition evolutionary, not revolutionary. Another columnist said it more strongly, in slightly more technical terms, that it was a "point upgrade" to 95, i.e. unworthy. I simply cited a STILL different opinion writer, who seems to write about both USA-focused and European-focused computer topics.
My SECOND edit was more nuanced, i.e. SOME SAY rather than IT IS. That's not Vandalism Semree (talk) 15:32, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
- Semree: The article is not the place to argue which version is "the real Windows 98". -★- PlyrStar93. →Message me. ← 15:39, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
- Please let us at least agree that it is not vandalism. Also, "IS 'the real'" is NOT better, a mistake I also made. On my next edit, I will definitely use the word WAS, since this is not a discussion about what is but what WAS.
- On a personal note, for the laptop I bought for my younger brother I had the store load SECOND EDITION in place of what it had. Yes it cost, but -- it was a present. Since the article covers both FIRST and SECOND edition, doing a compare and contrast is EXACTLY the right place, unless you are advocating splitting the article into two OR MORE parts (the third being the comparison). Semree (talk) 15:54, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
- On the basis of the "HUGGLE" tag placed on the mistaken REVERT, and having read the Wiki policy stating
- "The principal idea of Huggle as an anti-vandalism tool is to make it possible for Wikipedia to stay as open and free as possible (allowing everyone to edit without any restrictions), while keeping it clean of any vandalism,"
- I am proceeding with the described edit. While I truly do no believe the readers of Wiki will gain by splitting this article, you are entitled to point in that direction. In the meantime, the article has THREE major areas- FIRST EDITION, SECOND EDITION, and a comparison. The comparison is at this point rather weak. I'll see what I can do to improve this, based on the above. Semree (talk) 16:14, 24 September 2017 (UTC)

If you look at Mr. Ryan's credintals on his website, steveryangames.com you will see that the edits (and links) were being used to cross reference his credentials to television shows and books that he created.

- Hello INTERNETPERSON: for Commons licensing please resolve them on the talk page of image at Commons, and don't bring to enwiki. But as a heads up, if an image has been released somewhere else first, it needs to be released under a compatible license before it gets accepted on Commons, no matter who made the work; and naming an image "I own the copyright to this image" won't help you either. Also, when you leave messages, don't use the repeating pound characters as they mess up for format. Anymore mess-up of my talk page formatting from you will get rolled back without further replies. Requesting an article
There appears to be a misunderstandig, as I was trying to include a request for wikipedia to include a biography, by profession and by nacionality. It is not vandalism. Perhaps it was typed and included in a not proper space ... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jose Augusto Bittencourt (talk • contribs) 16:42, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
- There is no misunderstanding. You erased content and replaced with your autobiography. You repeatedly wrote about yourself, which is a clear conflict of interest, even when a draft was declined, and were told repeatedly to stop. Your account has been blocked temporarily, so you can reflect, and learn how the encyclopedia works. Please read the guidelines. If you have any questions about how Wikipedia works, please ask at the Tea House. -- Alexf(talk) 16:52, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Jose Augusto Bittencourt: If you are requesting an article, you should follow what others have done in the request page - list the name of your requested article and give a brief description+citation. This should be listed just above the {{div col end}} line of the appropriate section. While it's advised to provide adequate information, copy-pasting the content of an article you created by yourself (and erasing other content) is not the way to do it. BTW in case you haven't seen this, just linking here. -★- PlyrStar93. →Message me. ← 16:59, 1 October 2017 (UTC)

Where are you from because I was wondering why someone`s from outside is interested in this airport?! — Preceding unsigned comment added by FAIRPLANES (talk • contribs) 16:06, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
- @FAIRPLANES: I was simply looking at recent changes and check if edits are possible vandalism, using Huggle (It only shows limited information and sometimes I do make mistakes on my judgment). As for why I edited this particular article, it's just because the edit showed up as a recent change on Huggle, and it's not because of where I live in or come from.
- The first time I looked at your edit, it appeared to me that you were blanking an entire section without a reason since I saw the "Statistics" section got removed, but I did not realize that you were actually doing regular edits or cleanups until I checked again, although it would be greatly helpful you put edit summaries in your edits. Especially when you have performed multiple helpful edits, a rollback definitely shouldn't have been used in this case as it would remove all edits made last by you, and I am sorry for the trouble. -★- PlyrStar93. →Message me. ← 16:29, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
- The statistics section has been indeed entirely deleted without any comment albeit it is up to date and of course sourced. Instead user Fairplane added new routes without stating sources and exact dates violating our guidelines and destroying some good work - there were no helpful edits. You should have listend to Huggle. Best regards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.104.3.122 (talk) 08:52, 5 October 2017 (UTC)

If you want a page not to show up such prefix, you can create it in the mainspace, a.k.a. you enter the the title of the page you want to create in the search box, it can navigate you to the page creation interface, and it should say "Creating <article's title>" without prefix.
- But it's generally a good idea not to directly create pages in the mainspace unless you are confident the page meets Wikipedia's standards for acceptance. Draft space is often used in AfC submission process, and if your article gets accepted by a reviewer, they will move it to mainspace for you, so you can still create it in draft space, but when you are done, you need to submit it and wait for review. -★- PlyrStar93. →Message me. ← 17:00, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
- PlyrStar93 Okay can you please review and accept or you help create since youre more experienced i know my write ups are coorrect thanks
- This Is What It Says
- "Your article will be created in the draft space. When you finish, you'll be able to submit it to be reviewed by our volunteers. After a successful review, it will be moved to the article namespace ('mainspace')."

- @Thejuker: I'm afraid I can't review it for you. The actual AfC review process is done by the project's participants but I'm not one of them. However, you can edit your article in the draft space, and when you are ready to submit it, put
{{subst:submit}}
at the top of the draft page you created. This will put your article for review. -★- PlyrStar93. →Message me. ← 17:21, 14 October 2017 (UTC)

Scent of a Woman [1992 Film] vs. Scent of a Woman's Fishy Clit [1992 Film]
Do you mind explaining to me why my edit for this film was changed? I happen to personally LOVE the fresh scent of FISH between a woman's legs, and let's be honest - ANYONE watching the movie "Scent of a Woman" IMMEDIATELY thinks of the fresh FISHY scent between a woman's legs. Hence my change.
Can you please change it back? I would appreciate it very much. I really like the change that I made, and I would like to keep it that way.

CSD A7
Hi, you added the tag to Will Meyrick 17 minutes after creation, although it contained two independent RS, and there are more on Google, including CNN. Perhaps consider giving new articles a bit more time? It's also worth doing a quick Google check if in doubt. Best, SarahSV (talk) 03:20, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
- @SlimVirgin: I maybe wrong, although according to A7's guideline, it's different from the sources' verifiability and reliability, but rather why the subject is important. I A7-tagged it because I didn't see the claim of significance being asserted in the article's current state, and thought I have waited enough time for a mainspace article to be expanded (since it's generally advised to draft articles in user space to avoid speedy deletion). -★- PlyrStar93. →Message me. ← 03:41, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
AIV report on 24.217.185.50
Hi, for your information. Thank you. --Efe (talk) 09:19, 16 October 2017 (UTC)
Are you being heavy-handed?
Hi PlyrStar93.
On 13 October 2017 you inserted the following statement on the Talk page for Paula Evans:
- ”Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Y Lolfa, you may be blocked from editing.”
I assume your warning was in response to this edit by Paula.
Your message to Paula was technically incorrect and grossly inappropriate. There is no way that Paula’s edits to Y Lolfa could be considered disruptive. They do not constitute vandalism. They do not put Paula at any risk of being blocked from editing. I ask that you return to Paula’s Talk page and erase your message. (The message may be part of a template not composed by you, but you chose to use the template and you can read what it says, so you are fully responsible for the message conveyed to Paula.)
It is true that some of the information added by Paula was unsourced. This aspect has been soundly and professionally addressed on Paula's Talk page by Jim1138. Jim’s edits contained information and guidance. His is the way we do things on Wikipedia. There was nothing to be achieved by your warning. Dolphin (t) 12:21, 16 October 2017 (UTC)

Bullying
Please refrain from bullying. If you wish to challenge the WP:MOS there are forums to do so but bullying other editors to get your way is not the means to do so.
-- MC 141.131.2.3 (talk) 16:34, 13 October 2017 (UTC)
- The revert has nothing to do with MOS, but rather the typo you are introducing. -★- PlyrStar93. →Message me. ← 16:35, 13 October 2017 (UTC)
- That does not explain the revert or the accusation. But my apologies for the typo. --MC 141.131.2.3 (talk) 15:54, 17 October 2017 (UTC)
- There was no intimidation or threatening, so there was no bullying. I already explained above for the reason of revert, and you restored your MOS edit without re-introducing the typo, so there's nothing else we have to do now. -★- PlyrStar93. →Message me. ← 17:43, 17 October 2017 (UTC)

Changes to Aziz Mohammad Bhai
Dear Plyrstar93,
Thank you for your comments as regards my recent edits.
I appreciate your comments on the lack of constructive qualities of my post however I disagree given my firm belief that it is even less constructive to commence an informational page about a person with information that is out of date and suggests that said person, Aziz M. Bhai, has ongoing legal matters as well featuring other erroneous and out of date comments. Said legal matters have been resolved. My own editorial put together is based on primary sources; interviews with people actually involved in the cases.
I can add references but as those people are still involved in ongoing court cases they have asked not to be named hence no referencing to date.
The way that the page was initially put together and is consistently amended reflects the ongoing barrage of fake news directed against the subject in Bangladesh. We are therefore going to launch a complaint and suggest this page is removed.
Kind regards, — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bangladeshforresponsibleresearch (talk • contribs) 13:51, 18 October 2017 (UTC)

AIV
Hi. Thanks for you great work work in counter-vandalism. It's much appreciated. The vast majority of your reports at AIV are legit. But once in a while one comes in that ends up getting declined. Just remember that in general there should be multiple warnings with the most recent being a level 4 before an editor is reported to AIV. Also the most recent incident needs to postdate the last warning. Yes, there are some commonsense exceptions that we can file under "zero tolerance" offenses that will get a no warning block. But those are rare. Anyways, thanks again for all of your work. Best regards... -Ad Orientem (talk) 02:22, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
- P.S. I just indeffed Garrance based on their filter log, which I missed the first time around. -Ad Orientem (talk) 02:34, 19 October 2017 (UTC)
My alt talk
Thanks, but I'm fine if you just leave stuff like that there. Let them waste their time where they're not getting the attention they so sadly crave and are doing no real harm - better that than creating real disruption elsewhere. I'm happy to ignore it and clean it up later. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 16:24, 22 October 2017 (UTC)
