Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited AI boom, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Drake. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:11, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Nuclear Rabbit requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. 2A00:23EE:1998:5351:3538:BEA:A5C2:62D9 (talk) 12:35, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Killer symbol

[edit]

Hello, Pyraminxsolver,

Thank you for creating Killer symbol.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Only one of the sources cited uses the term "killer symbol," and even then it does so in quotes. Are there any sources that can be added to demonstrate this term itself is actively used or understood?

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|FULBERT}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to gender-related disputes or controversies or people associated with them, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Hi, Pyraminxsolver. Could you please elaborate on the meaning of this comment? Thanks. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|she) 02:49, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
except for my observation that the world is indeed quite small and sometimes that fact will surprise me, and that my personal viewpoints don't disrupt how i edit and i look at facts, i'll disacknowledge any comments requesting further testimony as i don't wish to incriminate myself. If this isn't going to be a recurring thing, then I won't press the matter. However, could you please amend the part of your comment that misgenders Lizthegrey? -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (they|xe|she) 03:07, 8 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

My War and Johnny Ramone

[edit]

Your edits at My War have been reverted now more than once, and not just by me. Your archiving of the talk page was obviously not for maintenance, but to attempt to clear the way for more of your tendentious edits. You make your bad faith the more obvious when you reverted my edit at Johnny Ramone to restore an unsourced, obviously counterfactual statement with the gibberish rationale "unsourced removal". There's no way to justify that edit.

Are you trying to provoke people? If you don't stop, the above is more than enough evidence to request a block. Curly "JFC" Turkey 🍁 ¡gobble! 20:38, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Graveland, you may be blocked from editing. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:02, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary, as you did at Graveland. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 13:17, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop whitewashing the article to remove citations and content in the lead. There is no policy or guideline that prevents articles from having "too many citations". Your edit was reverted; stop edit warring and discuss it on the talk page. WP:PRESERVE is pretty clear that content that is imperfect should not be removed simply because you think it may be imperfectly presented. Perhaps there are so many citations because people like you keep whitewashing the article and removing this content? If you stop edit warring to remove it, maybe someone will prune down the number of citations. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 13:27, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And come on: what is Special:Diff/1214491049? You doing the same exact thing? So, it's OK for you to add excessive citations, but not OK for anyone else? NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 13:29, 19 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about IPad kid

[edit]

Hello Pyraminxsolver, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, IPad kid, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/IPad kid.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Dan Leonard}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
