Quiz
[edit]This is a very simple quiz game. You can login and answer any question. If the person who asked the question confirms that your answer is correct, you get to post the next question. The next question should be posted within the next 24 hours. Kguneet (talk) 06:49, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot, Kguneet. It will take little time to get acquinted. I am sure it will be faster by your guidance. Sureshpurohit (talk) 10:40, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

Is there any mechanism/tool, so I get automatic notification when a new question is posted? --Su_hit (talk) 05:14, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- If you are logged in, you are automatically notified anytime someone makes a change to your talk page. A big yellow box will appear at the top of any page you load. If the questions are being posted on another page, click 'watch' at the top of that page. That will add the page to your watchlist, which you can get to by clicking on 'my watchlist' at the top of any page. But.. please know that Wikipedia is not MySpace; we are here to build an encyclopedia. I hope that helps. //roux 06:03, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks roux.--Su_hit (talk) 10:00, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
I have created the archive page for you. I have not deleted the content from the main page. Whenever you are ready with the next question, you just click 'edit this page' at the top of the quiz page. Then delete the contents below the line '===Q1===' and post your question. If you still face any problem please leave a note. I will do it for you. --Amondal (talk) 11:59, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- Please do not forget to reset the leader table! --Amondal (talk) 12:04, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
- I've done the needful. You can start the quiz now. Archiving is actually pretty easy - try your hand at it the next time; any mistakes can be easily fixed. --Gurubrahma (talk) 13:54, 2 December 2008 (UTC)

Problems with upload of File:Atullimited.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Atullimited.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

License tagging for File:Bmalogo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Bmalogo.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 10:05, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Sudhir Mehta
[edit]A tag has been placed on Sudhir Mehta requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. —SpaceFlight89 10:03, 13 July 2009 (UTC)
Number in history
[edit]Hi Suresh, the number you refer to in history such as +45 or -25 is the number of bytes of information added (denoted by + sign and in green color) or deleted (denoted by - sign and in red color) for each change in history. Hope this helps. --Gurubrahma (talk) 10:53, 21 July 2009 (UTC)
- Number of visits: I am not sure if there is any easy method available. You may want to check out Category:Wikipedia statistics and associated pages. --Gurubrahma (talk) 21:34, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of OliveTrips
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on OliveTrips requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. ... discospinster talk 19:25, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 2
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sayaji Ratna Award, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Humanity (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
