Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Singles Collection (David Bowie album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lodger. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Adding track listings to discography articles

[edit]

Hi. It appears over the last few months you've set about adding large amounts of track listings to articles like Rick Springfield discography. Please note hiding content on an article by default on Wikipedia is a violation of MOS:NOHIDE. (There are rare exceptions, but this is not one of them.) That being said, discography articles do not function as repositories for track listings when individual albums are not notable enough or simply do not have articles themselves. Track listings are basically never crucial to readers' understanding of a list of releases by a musical act, which is what a discography's function is. Please avoid making these sorts of edits in future; I'm confident Wikipedia can benefit from your content expansion in other areas. Thanks. Ss112 17:28, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
