The reason you left was wrong.
[edit]Hi, I have more information on the reference link that already available IMDB. Why do you need to remove that? The page I linked covered most of her things with photos even, this is unfair. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amrushavish (talk • contribs) 13:11, 14 June 2019 (UTC)
- Imdb and other unoffical pages are not regarded as reliable source and also see WP:ELNO to see what you can have in the external links. I hope this clears the question regarding what to add and not. Tolly4bolly 13:15, 14 June 2019 (UTC)

"blessed with a girl"
[edit]Hi there, re: this, please avoid euphemistic or overly-saccharine language. People aren't "blessed" with children. People have sex, sperm fertilises an egg, a fetus grows and a child is born. The simplest, most direct way to describe this well-understood process is: "The couple had a child in 2018". Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:24, 30 July 2019 (UTC)

[edit]It's ok to undo my edit, it is just that I saw that but should be butt. But meaning Except for the fact instead of Butt (buttocks) in which the pin Heather Acosta sticks her in. You can keep the wrong form of the word if you want to, but (Except for the fact) I will change it one more time, in case you realize this actually should be changed. jay walking to jaywalking isn't much of a big deal, although it too is not correct. If you get a ticket for jaywalking it clearly says on the ticket "jaywalking" not jay walking — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.164.132.22 (talk) 19:56, 13 August 2019 (UTC)

Maqoma article
[edit]Its not Vandalisim. Maqoma kaNgqika is correct, as that was his name. In Nguni tradition its is Maqoma kaNgqika (Maqoma son of Ngqika) that is how he was known among the amaXhosa. Another example is Shaka(Zulu) his Wikipedia page refers to him as Shaka kaSenzangakhona which is correct. LwaziOlunzulu (talk) 16:34, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

AfroCine: Join the Months of African Cinema this October!
[edit]Greetings!
After a successful first iteration of the “Months of African Cinema” last year, we are happy to announce that it will be happening again this year, starting from October 1! In the 2018 edition of the contest, about 600 Wikipedia articles were created in at least 8 languages. There were also contributions to Wikidata and Wikimedia commons, which brought the total number of wikimedia pages created during the contest to over 1,000.
The AfroCine Project welcomes you to October, the first out of the two months which have been dedicated to creating and improving content that centre around the cinema of Africa, the Caribbean, and the diaspora. Join us in this global edit-a-thon, by helping to create or expand articles which are connected to this scope. Also remember to list your name under the participants section.
On English Wikipedia, we would be recognizing participants in the following manner:
- Overall winner (1st, 2nd, 3rd places)
- Diversity winner
- Gender-gap fillers
For further information about the contest, the recognition categories and how to participate, please visit the contest page here. For further inquiries, please leave comments on the contest talkpage or on the main project talkpage. See you around :).--Jamie Tubers (talk) 00:50, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
