Keep: Another Oregonian here. Based on my understanding of WP:NOTCRYSTAL, I would argue that this page does meet that requirement, specifically in point number 1 -- the event is notable and almost certain to take place. Several facts pointed out in the article -- the election date, the history of Gov. Brown's original appointment in 2015, the fact that she is term-limited and cannot seek re-election -- are all verifiable. Our state has a Gubernatorial election every four years (our most recent one being in 2018), so the subject of who will be our next Governor is certainly notable, and potential candidates in that race are supported by a reliable source within the article. I would concede that articles for Gubernatorial elections taking place further in the future (2026, 2030, etc.) would not be notable (at least not yet), but I support keeping this article for the 2022 election.
