- Not sure. Only appears to be of note for his association with a major historical figure. In all likelihood some companions are more notable than others. We've deleted article of relatives of notable individuals, so I'm a little dubious about this one making the cut. — RJH 16:57, 29 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment: this needs more expert opinions to determine whether he is a significant enough figure in any Islamic traditions to require an article of his own.
