- Keep - needs sourcing, expansion.not deletion.--BabbaQ (talk) 00:51, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep He killed and raped eight people over a two month period. Not the definition of WP:BLP1E. This is the same as other serial killers listed. There is even a task force for serial killers. Wikipedia:WikiProject Criminal Biography/Serial Killer task force. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bgwhite (talk • contribs) 06:59, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep. Serial killer who killed eight people. Definitely notable. Hardly "known for one event". If this applies, then we should delete every article about a murderer. Bye bye Jack the Ripper, the Yorkshire Ripper, Andrei Chikatilo. All known only for "one event", although they committed that "one event" several times. -- Necrothesp (talk) 08:43, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- The second part of your rationale is invalid per WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. Can you please point me to a policy that states killing eight people makes a murderer notable when they don't appear to meet WP:GNG? Eagles 24/7 (C) 15:38, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment. This is the type of criminal that I suspect would get lots of coverage, however, I don't read Russian and I can find only one English reference. Perhaps someone from Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Russia might have the language skills necessary to give more insight. Location (talk) 15:16, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep - famous serial maniac--DissidentRUS (talk) 03:25, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- DissidentRUS has also been blocked indefinitely as a vandalism-only account. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:53, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment - I have withdrawn my delete vote because I am working with the creator of this page in order to try and find some notable references. --Skamecrazy123 (talk) 16:39, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Thanks!--DissidentRUS (talk) 18:42, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep Although DissidentRUS was a vandal and has been blocked accordingly, the subject of this AfD is quite notable. The article itself requires expansion, not deletion from its current stub state. --Russavia Let's dialogue 18:03, 16 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
