Review deletion of a page by a popular chess author

Some years ago, this page was deleted (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valeri_Lilov) because the person was not notable enough. Now, he is an International Master and has been a renowned chess author and lecturer. 78.83.30.39 (talk) 04:47, 3 November 2013 (UTC)

The renown that I can find is promotion connected to the subject. I don't see coverage (commentary) from sources independent of the subject. You might like to ask at Wikipedia_talk:Notability_(people), but I don't think Valeri Lilov has sufficient Wikipedia-notability. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 07:18, 3 November 2013 (UTC)
