Happiness

Hi! I noticed your recent efforts on The Universal Law of Happiness. After you decide what it is that this project will include, you might consider merging it with the existing content on Happiness. The other project does get a couple of visitors a day, so you'd be starting with a small but interested audience there. The problem with a title that begins with "The Universal" is that no one will find it if they are searching for "happiness". Hi Dave, thanks for checking out the page! As you noticed, the content is still taking shape. That's a good point on the search placement, and merging it with the Happiness page. User:Briggsstreet contributed this initial content, and I posted it for him. I would have credited him, but could use some direction on how to do that. There are three accepted ways to credit a source. The most common would be with <ref>[[page title]]</ref> tags. Second, but less obvious is to credit the source in the edit summary. People would see it when viewing history, but not when looking at the content. The third is to mention the reference on the Talk page. Again, this works, but people don't see the reference when reading the content. I recommend using the ref tags. Dave, I think it would be better if this topic could be found when searching Happiness. But since it is focused on scientific research related to happiness, it seemed to make sense putting it under Happiness research. Happiness Research or Happiness research would make more sense to me. There doesn't seem to be a single accepted universal law of happiness I can find in other publications. That's what I thought too. Once we develop the concept a little further we can move it up from the sub page to the Happiness research parent page. The Universal Law of Happiness is original research, as far as I know, by Briggsstreet (discuss • contribs). Linking to Wikipedia

When linking to Wikipedia, please use [[Wikipedia:Title]] or [[w:title|display text]] rather than https://en.wikipedia.org/.../title. The [[...]] format generates an internal sister link which provides different statistics. It also shows up differently on potential abuse reports.
