This template should be used to generate the definition line for demonym nouns such as Spaniard, Pole, Londoner and Arizonan (terms referring to a resident or native of a specified place). The content is generated by Module:demonym.
The template supports the following parameters:

(required)- Language code of the term; see Wiktionary:List of languages.

, etc.- One or more English-language toponyms (place names) where the people referred to by this term live or are natives of. Alternatively, a description may be used such as
any of several cities and towns in the [[United States]] named [[Springfield]]

, etc.- Zero or more English glosses for the term, if it is in a language other than English. This parameter is optional, as there may not exist such terms in English, or they may be rare or awkward.
