Copyright Information First registered for US copyright as an unpublished work in 1957 (EU472726). Another copy of the full score was later deposited in 1967 before publication in 1968. Despite the c1968 notice on the first published copy, the copyright on this piece expired due to the 1957 copyright not being renewed, although the separate US copyright on the introduction (by Edward Cole) included in the 1968 edition has not expired.
In the USA this work is most likely in the public domain because no renewal was found after a thorough search of the Catalog of Copyright Entries and it was ineligible for "restoration" under GATT/TRIPS.
