Jika Anda merupakan seorang pengguna terdaftar, di beberapa wiki Anda bisa mengunggah berkas melalui Special:Upload. Namun, fungsionalitas tersebut secara umum dimatikan di Inkubator. Anda perlu mengunggah berkasnya secara langsung di Wikimedia Commons.
- Mengunggah hanya boleh dilakukan oleh birokrat, yang hanya menggunakannya untuk fungsi administratif tertentu, seperti mengarsipkan uji coba yang telah dihapus.

- Pertama-tama, mendaftar di Commons atau masuk log (Anda mungkin telah didaftarkan secara otomatis melalui unified login).
- Specify your interface language in your preferences for convenience.
- Go to Commons:Upload and follow the instructions or use the Upload Wizard. Experienced users can also use this tool.
- You can use all files from Commons here in the normal way under the same name.
Why is it disabled here?
Because of bug T13168! ;-)
There are several advantages to using Commons instead of local uploads:
- You can use your image on every wiki of the Wikimedia Foundation.
- It avoids having to re-upload missing files after importing all test wiki pages to the new site.
- Commons is specifically for files. Consequently it has a better policy, etc. Incubator doesn't have any control on uploaded images.
