Petrus Eliae filius Čajkovskij[1] (Russice Пётр Ильич Чайковский, Pëtr Il'ič Čajkovskij; natus die 7 Maii 1840, mortuus 6 Novembris 1893 secundum Calendarium Gregorianum; 25 Aprilis 1840; 25 Octobris 1893 secundum Calendarium Iulianum) fuit compositor Russicus aetatis Romanticae, cuius opera symphonias, dramata melica, balletas, compositiones pro instrumentis, musicam cameratam, et carmina pro voce humana comprehendunt. Nonnulla ex operibus populo gratissimis pro concerto et theatro in repertorio musicae classicae composuit, balletis non exceptis Lacu cycnorum, Virgine Pulchra Dormiente, et Nucifrangibulo, 1812 Apertura, concerto primo pro piano, ultimis tribus symphoniis numeratis, inter eas Symphonia VI, et opera Eugenio Onegin.

Ab anno 1850 ad annum 1859, Petropoli in schola iuris prudentiae educabatur, postquam annis ab 1859 ad 1863 in ministerio rei iuridicae laborabat. Anno 1865 magna cum laude studium in conservatorio Petropolitano complevit, ubi ab anno 1861 studuerat. Annis ab 1866 ad 1878 fuit professor conservatorii Moscuensis.
