De hac formula

Vocalis anterior[1] sive palatalis est sonus vocalis, in cuius pronuntiatu locus in meatu vocis angustissimus dorso linguae effectus in anteriore parte oris est. Diagramma vocalium est descriptio schematica meatus vocis, qua linguae positiones cardinales, quomodo ad libram et ad perpendiculum inter se relatae dispositaeque sint, ostenduntur.
