Contest - New Glam Web - Edit-a-thon

#Wikiarte is an international edit-a-thon about Latin American art. Is organized by the Patricia Phelps collection, the Museum of Modern Art of New York and Wikimedia New York. This year Wikimedia Argentina gets involved in the event with Wikimedia Venezuela and Wikimedia México. The Saturday 12 of November Wikimedia Argentina (WMAR) made an edit-a-thon in the National Museum of Fine Artes (Argentina), first the volunteers attended to the workshop "How to edit a Wikipedia article" after that the assistants were divided into different groups and start editing.

New online page

We are glad to announce that Wikimedia Argentina has launched a new online page about the GLAM program in Argentina. In this web, WMAR presents the different projects that works the Wikimedia Argentina GLAM program.

Open House Buenos Aires

Wikimedia Argentina and Open House made an online contest of architecture. For a week, Open House attendees were able to upload to Wikimedia Commons different photographs of building of Buenos Aires. The results of this contest were more than 900 pictures of historical building of Argentina, this was the first experience of WMAR with the community of architects of Argentina.
