This app is great, and I have the love of being able to save my game data with no real issues. The only issue I currently have, is the fact that I have tried to update it 7 times and it's only pending download before stopping and saying it still needs an update. But I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app seven times, so what's going on?

I had no problems with this app until I tried to update it today. It won't update. It's stuck in my Google Play Store updates list, but tapping 'update' is futile. I cleared cache and data on Google Play Games, Google Play Store, and Google Play Services. Nothing changed. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. No change. I restarted my phone after every step. Still nothing. Checked for updates for Google Play Store and Google Services. They are updated, yet the app is still stuck. Fix this!

Unhelpful complication, plus it refuses to update... Since installing it, nothing was improved. It just made have and scores more complicated. It's additionally aggravating that the Google Play app says Google Play Games needs to update, when it simply won't — even though I reinstalled it and everything. I just can't recommend bothering with it.
