The app helps organize contacts, however, some of the recent updates are just not desirable. Specifically, photos are automatically placed even though I had a self-selected photo. The "more fields" layout is not clean and easy as it was previously. Lastly, the app automatically merges contacts even though they are different people. For instance, if I have someone named Bob and add another Bob, the app merges the two. Good luck unmerging them! Lots of annoying inconveniences.

Recently updated and now it's a pain to use. I can't merge contacts, even giving the same name it doesn't recognize and offer to merge. When adding info I have to scroll to the bottom click s button, click the type then select it and enter the the info. 2 more clicks than before. Updates that make it worse are useless.

It's useful for syncing across new devices effortlessly while keeping your contacts without having to reenter everything. However, its search function stops working randomly and will not find many entries. It's an old bug which persists since before 2019, so it loses 3 points for this. Search us essential with a large set of contacts.
