I recently stayed at The Huntsman in Cheadle for a few days and had a lovely experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The location of the hotel is great and there is plenty of parking available. The breakfast served was delicious and the proprietor was charming and helpful. The pub food on offer was also great value and hearty. The Huntsman is a friendly place with spacious and clean rooms.

The lodge has a spacious outdoor area with a wood fired pizza oven and reasonably priced wine. Staff were courteous and efficient. Convenient location near town center and fishing lodges.

There was a mix-up with the food orders in the bar, resulting in a longer wait time for meals. However, the staff handled the situation professionally and even offered a partial refund as an apology.

Just returned from a great 2 night stay. It’s cosy & friendly - exactly what we expected from it. the bed was extremely comfy and the cooked breakfast was fresh and tasty. If you are lucky to stay over on a Sunday night - the pub quiz downstairs is a must! ! Staff were great from the start, helping me with bags when we arrived at 10pm with small children. Really friendly in the morning too, couldn’t be more helpful and the breakfast was lovely.
