Carol Owens (born June 4, 1967)[1] is an American basketball coach and former player who is currently the associate head coach for women's basketball at the University of Notre Dame, a role she has held since 2010.[2] Owens played college basketball at Northern Illinois, where she also served as head coach from 2005 to 2010 before resigning at the end of the 2009–10 season.[3][4]

Prior to being the head coach at Northern Illinois, Owens was an assistant coach at Michigan for two seasons and at Notre Dame for 10 seasons.
