Institue of Natural Hygiene is a non-profit naturopathy and yoga sanitorium of Jammu which claims medical treatments by mud, air, water, sunshine, ether (empty spaces) and by lifestyle reforms in diet, sleep, behavior and exercise.

History

The founder Dr Kartar Singh Jamwal, an allopathic doctor, turned into yoga & naturopathy practiced at Institue of Natural Hygiene Ambphalla Jammu^[1], a sanitorium where the actual projects were being conducted by Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy ^[2] and published their findings in the magazine Natural Health News with RNI 401-94/JDM/79 for 25 years. It also reviewed articles by lifestyle experts such as Dr Paavo Airola, Dr Herbert Shelton, and pioneering naturopaths of India.^[3] In 1999, after the death of founder doctor the publication ceased with a noting that it might post occasional new articles.

Natural Health News was in print media when there was no internet. The books and magazines from which it referenced articles resides in Gandhi Bhawan Jammu.
