I think working on the article on Keats' Endymion might be a slightly higher priority! .. the article is of sufficient length for a third tier TV presenter and rock stars' serial girlfriend .. anything longer would be fancruft and unencyclopaedic — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.131.110.118 (talk) 13:29, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Her Name

[edit]

Her name: Chung or Cheung? She was creditted as "Alex Cheung" on a recent T4 "The Devil Wears Prada: T4 Movie Special"

She has a website at http://www.alexachung.co.uk, so I guess that's how she spells it Rojomoke 16:23, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Eurasian

[edit]

what is a eurasian?

The offspring of a European and an Asian. Oayk 21:14, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

a person from the fictional superstate or country in the book 1984

We don’t generally refer to Mixed Asians in Europe as Eurasian (or that ghastly appropriated term “Hapa”). Besides AC has shown barely any interest in her Asian ancestry. 2A00:23C4:3E08:4001:4451:6D43:CB35:50C2 (talk) 19:51, 11 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Get a Grip

Her performance is so wooden on screen compared to Ben Elton's Speedboy Salesman 14:26, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article far too long

[edit]

This article is far toooooo looooong given the triviality of the subject matter: is there no way of cutting it down to size? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.35.50.146 (talk) 15:42, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

    • Seconded. Almost none of the excessively linked and footnoted information is of any encyclopedic interest, though it IS very hard on the eye. There is also no indication that this entry will ever expand in substance. (See 'notability' below)Sartoresartus (talk) 12:36, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wang Chung

[edit]

I removed a reference to 80s band Wang Chung as it sounded like someone's idea of a joke. Edit was made by an annonymous user in the first place. It claimed her father was a member but there was no one called Chung in the band. Chris Wood 16:08, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

i agree. she's basically a singers girlfriend and a third tier TV presenter. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.71.208.181 (talk) 12:15, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Golden Handcuffs?

[edit]

Why does the article say that her Channel 4 contract is a Golden Handcuffs deal? There's no mention of such exclusivity in the article (number 26) quoted. The fact that she's also co-presenting the BBC3 program "The Wall" further proves the C4 contract isn't exclusive. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.155.190.248 (talk) 10:30, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sources

[edit]

Some of the references are scanned in from newspapers and magazines, because the date they were published is not mentioned it makes it difficult to verify the information, for example the Evening Standard interview part one [1] and part two [2]. Although the scanned pages are available, they are not reliable sources unless the original sources can be verified, and they cannot be identified from the scanned pages. --Snigbrook (talk) 15:55, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

relationships edited....

[edit]

why has that been cut down? its the funniest part.... and the most interesting. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.242.225.30 (talk) 15:48, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Waaay to long. And really, who cares about her past boyfriends? This is not the Mirror or the Sun... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Blubarton (talkcontribs) 03:43, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ancestry

[edit]

I know I may receive a lot of controversy for this edit, but the page previously read that her father is Eurasian. He's one quarter English and three-fourths Chinese descent, therefore one of his grandfathers or grandmothers should of been pure English. Why just put that he is Eurasian? All sources cite he was mixed with Chinese blood. Spelling Style (talk) 21:13, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

[edit]

Undistinguished TV presenter who wears fashionable clothes? Do we need an article on this woman? 80.69.30.249 (talk) 11:00, 19 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Companies

[edit]

"worked for companies including Fanta, Sony Ericsson, Sunsilk, Urban Outfitters, and Tampax." I'm no expert, but are Fanta, Tampax and Sunsilk companies? Theeurocrat (talk) 10:24, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Website

[edit]

I've removed her official website as it's now a shopping website - Not really appropriate for this place nor is it really relevant as such I suppose it could be used as a cite if really desired but using it as an official website when technically it's not isn't really a great idea (Out of 5 paragraphs there's only one very tiny sentence that makes note of Alexa herself) so in a round about way the website is irrelevant here, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 12:43, 31 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
