[edit]I object to this deletion since it is a small but known botanical garden in the USA. The words "dramatic color combinations" comes directly from it's own website. I find that whomever wrote the PROD is offensive. Ruth E 21:51, 31 August 2007 (UTC)Ruth_E
In addition, since it is not well known, but is a public botanical garden, and since people come to wikipedia to find out about the botanical gardens in their state, country, whereever, it needs to stay. I have not visited this garden and not much is known about it, so that is why it is not expanded, but I am a fan of botanical gardens in general and try to visit as many as possible. Wikipedia is pretty much the only source for botanical gardens in the USA, at least the listings of them, so this must stay.
This garden is listed under List of Botanical Gardens, which it is, a botanical garden. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ruth E (talk • contribs) 22:04, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Expanded the article a bit - maybe this will help smooth ruffled feathers? I'm not sure that I'd call it a 'botanical garden' (as it doesn't appear to have anything specifically for studying plant species, however it looks like an interesting place to visit, for the plantsmen amongst us. Though not clear which El Cerrito it is - could someone in the know please clarify? Ephebi 15:30, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- I tagged it as Contra Costa County, based on the fact it was covered in the SF press. Should anyone AfD this, I can't stop you but can I request you read the conversation here before doing so —Preceding unsigned comment added by Iridescent (talk • contribs) 16:16, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- I had read it already, which is why I thought it was a good idea to expand it a bit to see why its notable. Hopefully I've now linked it to the right El Cerrito. Ephebi 22:49, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
