Listings
[edit]There are definitely more Canadian ISPs than listed here, so add more if you know of them. - Ahunt (talk) 20:35, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- Recommend only including the big and notable ones, as there are hundreds of little "mom & pop" dialup ISP's in Canada, we can't have articles on all of them. -- OlEnglish (Talk) 21:10, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- I did some poking around and you are right, there seem to be about 200 of them, although that list is incomplete and out of date! It may make sense to only add ISPs to this template when an article has been created for them, in other words to delete the redlinks. What do you think?- Ahunt (talk) 22:56, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- Agreed. Only add ISP's with already existing articles, it'll help keep the list at a manageable size. Looks like you already got all of the main ones, I added Lightspeed too, although it's a redlink I think that one is worthy of an article, so you can remove it if you want or one of us could create the stub for it. OlEnglish (Talk) 02:46, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
- Okay I have removed all the redlinks and added a comment to the template asking editors not to add redlinks to the template, but to put links to ISP articles in only when an article has been created. - Ahunt (talk) 14:22, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
