Hello! 2+2=4
I edit mostly in the Hebrew Wikipedia, mainly on Canaanite and general Levantine ancient history topics.
Contributions
[edit]As mentioned, most of my contributions are in Hebrew wikipedia, as well as in Wikimedia Commons and Hebrew Wiktionary. My edits here are mainly small; my big edits include creating Carne, Phoenicia[1], Dius (historian), Phoenician votive inscriptions[2], Sakkun, Quintus Marcius trilingual inscription and Pumayyaton and Pnytarion's inscriptions, as well as some redirects.
References
[edit]There is a serious lack of references in the Hebrew Wikipedia, so although the sources situation in the English Wikipedia is way better both in policy and in practice, I still want to mention the importance of sources, especially academic sources. Without sources we are just another blog on the internet. There are several free useful sources for references (I have a wider list in my Hebrew user page):
- ResearchGate (article).
- Academia.edu (article).
- Internet Archive (article) archives like National Library of Israel website and Jabotinsky institute archive.
- JSTOR (article): it is not free, but citizens of Israel can have some limited access through the National Library of Israel website.[3]
- and of course, The Wikipedia Library for whoever has access.
