Hello, I'm Appleangel11. Although my username seems to reflect differently, I am a junior at Rice University, studying Mathematical Economic Analysis, Asian Studies, and Policy Studies and minoring in Poverty, Justice, and Human Capabilities. My academic interests generally center around China and Chinese policies concerning women and those in poverty and more specifically, the One-Child Policy, but I love learning new things and enjoy having my worldview challenged. I am excited to be a part of this Wikipedia community and hope that I can add to the amazing database of knowledge that already exists today! The world is a wondrous and fascinating place and there are so many more mysteries to uncover and share with others!

I have recently completed the page, "Disability in China"! I am contributing to another Wikipedia page, Two-child policy. Furthermore, I am interested in collaborating with other Wikipedians, whether through editing, researching, or nominating articles!
