Editing since I was a teen because I am optimistic about the opportunities Simple Wikipedia creates for kids, students, people with learning disabilities and no time to read :)
Getting close to my 200th article baby!
I contribute to the development of Wikipedia because it first did the same to me.

- Some of the winners of Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role don't have articles.
- Need to work on Baddo cult article
- Femi Odukale appears a lot for me not to double check if he is notable.

[edit]Thoughts on Community
[edit]New editors: You matter a lot. You bring new energy and perception to Wikipedia. You see what we never saw all along. Don't chase edit counts. Make the edit count. I have onboarded editors who now have more than 3000 edits and one is now a staff at the Wikimedia Foundation. Find your goal here.
Time: Many times, I run down here to create articles before anyone does and usually, I am a day lucky or some minutes. Often, I find out that what I just published has been in someone else's draft unknown to me; whiskers lucky.
Being unable to close the door at open source: I am really tired. I create an article on someone with a 'cult' following (eg. Sam Adeyemi, Fela Durotoye, Omoyele Sowore and Tems) and it's just as fine as we accept here. I mean 3 paragraphs and I am done with a great job. Next week, there are like 100 edits already and man I don't own the door anymore. They flag my article for deletion because others have messed it up. Sigh. One guy kept on asking me how come I know so much about an article and I found it hard to tell him I created that article with less than 5 sentences. How do you manage an article you created when its for the community?
Skeptic's perception of Wikipedia: Does not matter. LOL. People come to say its not reliable, can be edited by anyone and still come back 3 days later to confirm a fact or learn something. Let's keep doing what we doing.

Alt Accounts
[edit]As a Wikipedian in Residence, I had to record this tutorial and it included guiding people through creating an account. Hence, I had to register 2 alt accounts while recording which I don't use.
