MAREY is a Swiss indie alternative Electronica trip-hop Band, consisting of the multi-instrumentalist Aurèle Louis (cello, guitar, synthesizer, bass, drummachine, programming) and the singer Maryam Hammad alias Uma Koma (at times also guitar and synthesizer).

History
[edit]MAREY was founded in 2016. They released their first EP The Harvest on the Swiss label deepdive Records autumn 2016. In winter 2016 they got booked as support band for the singer Jaël (former singer of the band Lunik).
2018 they released their first album "Save Animals Eat People", recorded, mixed and produced by MAREY at Studio de la Fonderie in Fribourg, Switzerland. The album brought the band on their first own tour.
In September 2019 they released a new single "Synthetic" which shows a shift from their previous work.
An album is coming in 2020.
