[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Savant syndrome, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. "despite not being autistic" is more trivia than information for a caption, best saved for the page itself. ButterCashier (talk) 10:18, 11 July 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia, and articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Antiscience. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, please use the sandbox instead, where you are given a certain degree of freedom in what you write. -REDACTED403 (talk) 12:25, 14 November 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Childhood disintegrative disorder, please use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it.
It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Jessicapierce (talk) 16:33, 5 January 2024 (UTC)
- In addition, please do not ever change the content of direct quotes, even as corrections, as you did at Fighting Talk. Thank you. Jessicapierce (talk) 16:33, 5 January 2024 (UTC)
- I've never changed the content of any quotes, direct or indirect, so I can only imagine another user of this computer did that (I'm in a library). 80.193.98.150 (talk) 15:45, 2 February 2024 (UTC)
- I wouldn’t worry about it. I’ve noticed that accounts innocent of any malicious activity have been unjustly accused of vandalism by Wikipedia bots/editors as an excuse for a block on that particular account. This has happened more than a few times already, as in this case. 80.193.98.150 (talk) 16:01, 15 February 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from using talk pages such as Talk:Death of Nex Benedict for general discussion of this or other topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See the talk page guidelines for more information. Your personal views are not relevant to improving the article. — The Hand That Feeds You:Bite 19:29, 31 May 2024 (UTC)
- Even if said so-called "Personal views" are actually the views of wider society? Thanks for exposing yourself as a transphobe, I guess. 80.193.98.150 (talk) 11:22, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
- Do not accuse me of transphobia. That's a personal attack. — The Hand That Feeds You:Bite 12:30, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
- I apologise. I can still say you show evidence of having transphobic viewpoints without that being a personal attack, though. 80.193.98.150 (talk) 11:39, 10 June 2024 (UTC)
- No, you really can't. Drop it. — The Hand That Feeds You:Bite 12:12, 10 June 2024 (UTC)
- Actually, the other user of this account is correct. Saying that someone shows evidence of something is not name-calling, and is thus not a personal attack. Therefore, I would like to add to their assertion and say you show evidence of a generally discriminatory viewpoint, since you engaged in tone-policing, which is so often used as an oblique way to tell minority groups to shut up and stop protesting their marginalization. 80.193.98.150 (talk) 11:08, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
- You have demonstrated no evidence, therefore it is a personal attack. You also have no idea what minority groups I'm in. — The Hand That Feeds You:Bite 14:21, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
- For the evidence, read your first comment in this section. 80.193.98.150 (talk) 16:37, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
- So, telling you to adhere to our guidelines is transphobia. I give up, you're not here to honestly edit. — The Hand That Feeds You:Bite 16:44, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
- The evidence I referred to is where you basically told the other editor off for stating in the talk page on the Nex Benedict article that their death was not the result of a drug overdose, regardless of the transphobic assertions of the police and the ME otherwise.
- “…you're not here to honestly edit.”
- Every accusation a confession. 80.193.98.150 (talk) 15:28, 20 June 2024 (UTC)

Mel Baggs
[edit]Hello - I removed your source about LFA on Mel Baggs. I believe the jump from "these are the symptoms of LFA" to "therefore Baggs did not have LFA" constitutes original research, which is not allowed on Wikipedia. I also left a note on the page's talk with some more elaboration. Thanks. TheZoodles (talk) 08:13, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
- I made my edits in late September or early October (I can't remember which), whereas you left the note you reference on September 15 in response to another editor on this IP. You (most likely) also seem to taken away this IP's ability to edit any article despite zero evidence of vandalism, possibly so your view of subjects can remain unchallenged. Therefore, I believe that you're not here to honestly edit. 80.193.98.150 (talk) 10:21, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
- My apologies, I did not know there were multiple editors on this IP. However, I don't know anything regarding this IP's ability to edit being taken away. You may want to reach out to the help desk to further inquire about that. Cheers. TheZoodles (talk) 15:59, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
- I'm the editor who added the information you inappropriately reverted, and I got the information about Baggs' age at autism diagnosis and intellectual ability from https://www.advocate.com/news/2020/4/29/mel-baggs-noted-non-binary-and-autistic-blogger-dies-39. 80.193.98.150 (talk) 15:44, 17 October 2024 (UTC)
