Please consider carefully if a link to [1] is appropriate in this article. The page it points to seems to be a mouthpiece of the fishing industry, and its purpose to promote their point of view. Thanks. Karl Hahn (T) (C) 18:25, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Hello Bobby H. Heffley. I've noticed you have been making a lot of edits to Futurama related articles. Since you seem to have an interest in the topic I thought I would cordially invite you to join the Futurama Wikiproject. By joining the project you'll be able to coordinate your edits with other editors looking to improve the same articles and you'll be able to see what current tasks people need help with. Please have a look at the project and good luck with your future editing! Stardust8212 00:40, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
Wikipedia:WikiProject Futurama Roll Call
[edit]Hello, you are currently listed as a member of Wikiproject Futurama though you may be inactive. This seems to be the case for many members so I am sending this message to help renew interest in working on these articles. If you are still interested in working on Futurama related tasks please visit the wikiproject page to see how you can help. If you have time please also join in the recent discussions on the talk page, in particular I would personally appreciate comments on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Futurama#A new proposal for episode articles. Thank you for your time, hopefully I didn't annoy you too much. If you would not like to receive messages such as this in the future then consider removing yourself from Wikipedia:WikiProject Futurama/List of participants. Happy editing. Edit summaries and AWB
[edit]Hi Bobby, I noticed your edits to the Futurama articles today and just stopped by to suggest you consider using edit summaries to help other users know what changes you are making to the article. Also, since you are making multiple minor edits such as changing piped links to avoid redirects, which can get tedious, I thought I'd let you know this can be a lot easier if you consider using Auto-wiki browser. It's easy to use, fast and leaves and automatic edit summary (*wink, nudge*) you just have to request approval and most experienced users in good standing are automatically approved. Just a suggestion to make your wiki-life easier. Happy editing. Stardust8212 23:41, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
Superscripts
[edit]Hi Bobby. I've seen quite a few edits of yours pop up on my watchlist again and I've had to do some partial reverts. You've been adding superscripts to ordinal numbers (20th century to 20th century) which goes against the Wikipedia Manual of Style. Please see Wikipedia:Manual of Style (dates and numbers)#Exceptions for details. Thanks and happy editing! Stardust8212 00:37, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
Boy Scouting (Boy Scouts of America) GA Sweeps Review: On Hold
[edit]As part of the WikiProject Good Articles, we're doing sweeps to go over all of the current GAs and see if they still meet the GA criteria and I'm specifically going over all of the "Culture and Society" articles. I have reviewed Boy Scouting (Boy Scouts of America) and believe the article currently meets the majority of the criteria and should remain listed as a Good article. In reviewing the article, I have found there are several issues that need to be addressed, and I'll leave the article on hold for seven days for them to be fixed. I have left this message on your talk page since you have significantly edited the article (based on using this article history tool). Please consider helping address the several points that I listed on the talk page of the article, which shouldn't take too long to fix with the assistance of multiple editors. I have also left messages on the talk pages of a few other editors and a related WikiProject to spread the workload around some. If you have any questions, let me know on my talk page and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. --Nehrams2020 (talk) 21:54, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

City names
[edit]Hi, Bobby.
I've seen you working on a lot of articles around WP, especially with respect to changing the links from redirects to their main pages. I just wanted to let you know that although the change may seem intuitive, it's actually preferable to leave pages directing to "Cleveland, Ohio" rather than "Cleveland" because of the potential for the target page to change in the future. If Cleveland becomes a disambiguation page, for instance, all those links would now direct to that instead of to the intended article. This is especially pertinent with respect to the Cleveland articles, in light of discussions like this. The official Wikipedia guideline on this can be found here.

[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Great Tribulation. Doing so helps everyone understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. - Hi Softlavender. These warnings are apparently created automatically. There were dozens of problematic redirects to Westboro Baptist Church created out of bigoted slogans. A few were reasonable as they were well known and had been referenced extensively in RS sources. Those were left alone. However I sent most to RfD. A few were clearly attack page titles and I tagged them under G-10. One referred to Obama as the Anti-Christ. two others referred to Catholic priests as liars and child rapists.

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Don't Hang Up (The Orlons song) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of Teen Beat (instrumental)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Teen Beat (instrumental) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Your draft article, Draft:Teen Beat (instrumental)
[edit]Hello, Bobby H. Heffley. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Teen Beat".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. , or {{db-g13}}
code.
