- I am not sure how. Can I request someone to do it instead? I just followed the format of Turgis crater. Thanks IapetusCallistus (talk) 13:21, 16 January 2024 (UTC)
S/2023 U 1
[edit]Hey, I saw that you uploaded the discovery image of S/2023 U 1 from Carnegie Science. Sorry to say this, but that image doesn't appear to be in public domain since I couldn't find information about its license on Carnegie Science's website. The NASA-PD license you gave it is incorrect because these discovery images have nothing to do with NASA at all; Sheppard is unaffiliated with them. Because of this, it counts as copyvio. Nrco0e (talk) 16:08, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
- By the way, next time you upload images, avoid using the webp format because it isn't a standard file format supported in some browsers and programs. Nrco0e (talk) 16:12, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
- learned something new that Carnegie's and others don't necessarily work with NASA. It's okay, you can delete it. @Nrco0e IapetusCallistus (talk) 17:41, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
The image you created hasn't been destroyed
[edit]Presumably the challenge over this image will go to a WP:BRD discussion somewhere (not another editor's talk page) but just fyi, your creation has not been destroyed and you won't have to do it again if the consensus supports its inclusion. 𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 20:07, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
