Cut and paste moves
[edit]On a few of the pages you recently moved, you performed cut and paste moves. Using Metrostar Express
[edit]Kindly cite reason why it is still reverted old logo and old brand as there is no source URL or press release explicitly stating continuous usage the "Metrostar Express" name and logo. Please go to DOTC MRT3 at North depot and ask the management. Our readers are confused with these reverts you are doing despite changes in all signage in all stations and press releases. As of today, the website http://dotcmrt3.gov.ph/index.php do not bear the old logo and old brand name. --Exec8 (talk) 03:56, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
- Please be specific on your sources. The logo you posted is for the private corporation currently headed by Mr. Manuel V. Pangilinan, the private corporation is the owner of the system. The logo MetroRail is for the brand and for DOTC-MRT3, a government agency under DOTC. DOTC-MRT3 is the administrator and operator of the system. Unlike LRTA who is both the owner, operator and administrator, MRTC and DOTC-MRT3 are separate entities.--Exec8 (talk) 04:37, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
- The mere use of that logo means that "Metrostar express" is still the train's branding but the management decided to show the new corporate logo instead. So the "new logo" would be best to be put into the Metro Rail Transit Corporation article rather than the Manila Metro Rail Transit System --> This needs to be cited. The "Metrostar Express" branding is in use during the time MRTC has direct involvement in the design and maintenance of stations. Now that the state bought the economic interest of MRTC[1], and from the entry of the current administrator (general manager)[2], and in the recent court case involving the purchase of new locomotives (trains)[3], it affirms the argument that the operator is the one in charge in the upgrade, design and maintenance of the MRT 3 line and not the owner. --Exec8 (talk) 04:53, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
- Again, you are still providing me these arguments not supported by sources. Wikipedia is not a political organization and merely stating what is being officially released and reported to the public not assumptions, opinions and gossips. --Exec8 (talk) 04:58, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
- So are reverting the logos back. Please site your source URLs. --Exec8 (talk) 05:36, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
- You are barely new to the edit process. When other editors ask you sources for your argument on the argument The mere use of that logo means that "Metrostar express" is still the train's branding but the management decided to show the new corporate logo instead. you must be specific and explicit. As this is still contested, the best resort is to delete the logo and branding from the article. --Exec8 (talk) 05:45, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for June 3
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Transportation in the Philippines, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page San Juan (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Reverting your 'undo' on Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 2
[edit]Hi. I have reverted your 'Undo' of my edits on because your reason is invalid. First of all, I did not add anything to the lead section of the article, I just rearranged and clarify some information for non-Filipino readers. This is the English Wikipedia not WikiPilipinas. Do not assume that ONLY Filipinos will read Philippine articles. There are 'Manila's in Utah, Arkansas, etc. Please see Manila (disambiguation). Only Filipinos know what EDSA stands for. The MRT-2 line does not run just "along" segments of Recto Avenue, etc. is technically incorrect. Per WP:Lead section, The lead should be able to stand alone as a CONCISE overview (not a misrepresentation).
Also, completely reverting previous edits just because you did not agree with some of it, is an unjustifiable use of 'Undo'. Please see HELP:Reverting and Wikipedia:Revert only when necessary. My purpose as a Wikipedia editor is to improve articles if I see fit, following WP:Lead section and WP:MOS - "write articles with consistent, clear, and precise language, layout, and formatting promoting clarity and cohesion". I combined the dispersed information about heavy rail into the third paragraph. Line 2 is the "3rd" rapid transit line after LRT-1 (1984) and MRT-3 (1999). Identifying what is 'it' while there are too many nouns in the prior sentence is not redundancy, it's clarification. I also added Wikilinks to some of the words on the article, which were discarded when you reverted my edits. Again, please do not misuse the UNDO (Revert) function. Just a reminder, there is no ownership of articles in Wikipedia per WP:OWN. Anybody can edit any articles in Wikipedia to improve them. Thanks. - Briarfallen (talk) 19:56, 13 July 2014 (UTC)

Macedonian Radio Television
[edit]Before moving numerous pages, please read Wikipedia:Naming conventions (use English). You changed and renamed numerous mentions of MRT to MPT. MRT stands for "Makedonska radio televizija" and is the transliteraion of the Cyrillic form "Македонска радио телевизија" whose initialism would be "МРТ" -- [[ axg // ✉ ]] 14:37, 26 August 2014 (UTC)
Hi it has come to my attention that it is only the english articles that uses "MRT" instead of "MPT" which is used in the rest of other language wiki articles...
- The Czech, Germany, Spanish, French, Croatian, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Thai, Turkish, the majority of which use the Latin alphabet, in which all these other languages refer to it as "MRT", "MRTV" or other varitions in which the Cyrillic "Р" is transliterated to a Latin "R". As per the guidelines at Wikipedia:Article titles: "Names not originally in a Latin alphabet, such as Greek, Chinese, or Russian names, must be transliterated."
...especially the Macedonian one. Debunking your romanized alphabet argument, ...
- Actually further supporting my argument, since Macedonian, Bulgarian, Russian, Serbian, and Ukrainian use the Cyrillic alphabet and thus no need to transliterate it into Latin.
...it could be seen how even the logo has put "MPT" in a romanized alphabet form therefore should be the one to be followed.
- Again it's using Cyrillic and as per Wikipedia:Article titles, it must be transliterated. The Wikipedia article for the Russia-1 is located their at its English name, and not at Россия-1. Al Jazeera is located at Al Jazeera and not الجزيرة.
It is practice here in wikipedia to use the official naming used by the one being described in the article no matter what their translation to english might be...
- Wikipedia does not go be official names, it goes by common names, so the official name of the UK is "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland", but its common name is the United Kingdom in which the article is located. Many more can be seen at WP:UCRN.
such as Volkswagen which in direct romanized translation is "Folkswagen" but the former prevailed...
- Volkswagen is already in a Latin alphabet and does not need to be Romanised/Latinised/transliterated, and thus as a common name is located at Volkswagen, rather than "Folkswagen" or the correct translation: "People's car".
...due to it being the one used in the official logo of the company albeit being romanized too.
Again read above, we don't title articles on the official name or what the logo says, especially when the Volkwagon logo does not contain the words "Volkwagon", but rather the initials "VW"
I understand your argument on the main article "Macedonian Radio Television" that is why I kept that because its original name would not make sense in an expanded form here in english wiki. But its acronym should not be meddled upon especially it has a logo to prove it and the main article could provide the knowledge why MPT and what is its translation to english.
- Again see above. I should also point out that only the basic Latin alphabet could be used in a web address (URL), the address for the company is located at www.mrt.com.mk and not www.mpt.com.mk.
Lastly the MRT 1 and MRT 2 pages should be really up for a disambiguation as the MRT worldwide may refer to Mass Rapid Transit or an equivalent rail term.
- MRT is already a disambiguation page. MRT 1 is the only article on Wikipedia with that name. MRT 2 was also the only article with that name, the Manila system is located at Manila Light Rail Transit System Line 2, of which can be shortened to "MRT Line 2", "MRT-2", or "Megatren", if people were coming to the MRT 2 page all confused, a simple Hatnote at the top of the article is the way to go, rather than an undiscussed and controversial page move. -- [[ axg // ✉ ]] 11:44, 27 August 2014 (UTC)

- Comment:: Basically interactions were an ask of permission as what you have asked me to do. I dont think that such interaction is already sockpuppetry. PhilippineRevolution 15:40, 15 December 2014 (UTC)
- I am neither a Wikipedia or Commons CheckUser nor admin, I'm just asking the administrator dealing with this request to consider your Commons activity too. Although your comments over there are all similar (no {{support}}/{{comment}}, but '''Support'''/'''Comment''' and of course the same opinion), I only suspected a socky relationship having read the SPI case. - Well I aint gonna go a fair process anyways just like what they did here apparently @RioHondo: is a big power tripper bullying smaller contributors here for his own agenda by calling me a puppet of someone I do not know despite the block being only a possilikely and was never confirmed that I was. Apparently the user does not seem to know the word consensus either as seen in the recent talk page dicussion wherein there were no true final agreement between him and other users such as HTD and carries out things already at his will. See how he bullied his way into kicking me and other users out of a civilized talk about MRT-2? I just hope that he would not victimize more users here as maybe he might be really this Jerome guy wherein Jerome is his fall guy for opposing users. I do hope I could open a SPI investigation with him, HTD, and this Jerome guy as maybe they are the true socks. Just when I thought the Government is the dirtiest place there could be, Riohondo the user proved me there is so much more. Anyways delete my images on commons if you want to just never rename them to "LRT-2" or change something to that incorrect name. To the big bully, I hope you could still sleep with your conscience clean every night with what your are doing to others. Please never run for public office we dont need more bullies like you there.
