[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to George Floyd protests does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Justice League
[edit]I know you had good intentions at Justice League with this edit, but there are a few concerns that need addressed before we can add it. First of all, don't cite social media for reports like this. Rarely are sites like Facebook and Twitter acceptable sources on Wikipedia. A source like this one should be used instead. Also if you read that Variety article I just linked to, you'll see from an independent source that neither Whedon or Fisher have responded to requests for more information, so this is likely too early to mention the claim on Wikipedia. If you'd like to discuss in more detail, please start a discussion at Talk:Justice League (film). Thank you. --GoneIn60 (talk) 15:18, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
George Floyd edits
[edit]Hello. In regards to your edit in the lede, consensus was previously determined on how to include the sentence provided. Please review WP:CON as it is your burden to overturn previous consensus, not mine to uphold it. I reworded your edit to differentiate it from the riots. Thanks, Anon0098 (talk) 23:26, 3 July 2020 (UTC)
What section of the talk page was the consensus determined on? I tried to find if it had been discussed before, and couldn't find anything. Also how come the previous people who changed it back after I changed it, say that consensus was already decided?
Palme d'Or
[edit]Hi. Please note that no films are actually nominated for the Palme d'Or. They are all in a competition selection, with one winner named. This has been discussed previously. Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 14:22, 6 August 2020 (UTC)
