Wikipedia:WikiHarrier-Hawk
This page contains material that is kept because it is considered humorous. Such material is not meant to be taken seriously. |
This page in a nutshell: WikiHarrier-Hawks will often dig their talons into a talk-page dispute or other dispute and will not let go so easily. And, if they encounter WikiFauna with whom they have had past disputes, sometimes they will seek to refer to that dispute, even if the current topic is unrelated. With that said, though, often their dedication to Wikipedia is genuine. They simply can sometimes display a bit of excess zeal, if they perceive some danger of what they perceive as excessive instability, or an over-step into their territory by other WikiFauna. However, in the end, they may often bring much positive action, knowledge, and expertise to their role, as they have a wide range, good eyesight, agility in flight, and often limit themselves to a simple reminder to others to be careful to avoid problematic behaviors. |
Overview
[edit]Description
[edit]The WikiHarrier-hawk has been known to occasionally obscure the guideline of Assume Good Faith, and Be Bold, and will continue to hold a Grudge. They will continuously scan the other animals for a sign of weakness.

Their call is a whistled sueee-sueee-sueee.
Relations with other WikiFauna
[edit]There is one animal that the WikiHarrier-hawk has habitual problems with, that being the WikiPrairie Dog. The persistent efforts of WikiPrairie Dogs to extend and expand their territory in new and innovative ways, will sometimes bring them into conflict with WikiHarrier-Hawks, who object to habitual attempts to expand outwards, if they perceive it as some pattern of activity that runs counter to the general conventions and protocols of WikiFauna.
In addition, WikiHarrier-Hawks may sometimes tangle with WikiPuppies, and WikiKittens, and WikiPandas. The well-meaning but slightly inexperienced nature of these WikiFauna sometimes make the WikiHarrier-Hawks somewhat exasperated, which they will exhibit by making low swooping passes over the offending party, or showing their talons, or other threat displays.
If most animals come into contact with a WikiPrairie Dog with whom they have had a past dispute, often they will discard the previous dispute entirely in order to help with new common efforts and goals, and with providing information, tips and resources to help that process. Only the WikiHarrier-hawk continues to raise old disputes and problems, long after the other WikiFauna have moved to new pastures and new positive group efforts.
However, with that said, ultimately even the WikiHarrier-hawk is a productive member of the WikiAnimal Kingdom. WikiHarrier-hawks are known to be omnivorous; they can feed on fruits, vegetables and nuts as easily as on other WikiFauna. they are not malicious; merely overly persistent.
Sometimes the WikiHarrier-hawk may ultimately only have positive motives and goals in its actions. their intent in "harrying" their target may ultimately be no more than a threat display, warning their target to avoid problematic behaviors. in the end, they too have positive goals and ideas, and positive behaviors of value to the WikiCommunity.
WikiPrairie Dogs may act a bit skittish when WikiHarrier-hawks appear overhead, but in the end they share the same larger WikiHabitat, and the two WikiAnimals have been known to co-exist on numerous occasions with no apparent problem whatsoever.
