But his life in the military is never far away, and his job as one of the top interrogators in the Australian Army seems to follow him, even though he left it all far behind...or so he thought!
When a routine wait in the long queue at the local RTA to renew his drivers’ license ends up with someone trying to kill him, and an anthrax attack at the Big Day Out Concert on the Gold Coast kills some young people, things start to heat up very quickly.
All of a sudden Jay is being hunted by rogue soldiers and dirty cops, and it seems there are very few people he can trust. Toni (‘is that her real name?’) seems to be on his side, and helps him escape yet another attempt on his life, but he can’t work her out.
Racing against time, trying to stop more bodies turning up, trying to find the source of the anthrax, and the horror of what could happen, that’s what Jay does best. But will his best be enough this time?

I would recommend this to all lovers of a fast paced thriller! ...more

It is written by Sharyn herself, and her good friend, Lindsay Lewis. The website www.TheInconvenientChild.com is worth a look. It is a brilliant read, very hard to put down......more
