The police ask her to help investigate, a nice change of pace, and we learn so much about the different suspects as well as the setting and the customs of the time. Olive is such a breath of fresh air: she’s smart and intuitive without being obnoxious about it. She helps the police without withholding information to solve the mystery first (which annoys me so much!) Looking forward to the next in the series. ...more
