But then you get to see where Matt comes from and how his past has marked him. And your heart fills with sadness for him. Rhys is absolutely amazing and totally right for putting together Matt’s broken pieces. I totally recommend this book. Looking forward to the next one in the series....more

That said, I felt that the first part of the book (when the boys are 18) was way too long. Only the last 20% or so is about the MCs now (12 years later than the 1st part). It took them so long to get together that the ending felt a little abrupt and unfulfilling. I wished for, at least, a longer epilogue, when Wynn is more established in the city, got a job and we see the them more settled down as a couple. Also the steam was a little disappointing. There are only two sexy scenes. They were good but you have to wait for them almost until the very end of the book. ...more

Theirs is a love that transcends time and space. I cried my heart out. I just wish it were a little steamier. There is some sex in page but it is subdued and glossed over. The whole situation with Ty’s ex and his parents are way over the top. Other than that, it is a sweet book with almost no sex on page and whatever little there is is kind of glossed over.
