It is a fast-paced book filled with lightness and adventures. The main characters were kids, and B. Fuddle gracefully balanced their portrayal with nonchalance and smartness.
I am looking forward to reading the second book in the AKA Detective series, as the premise looks promising, and I hope that this time the book will be lengthy. I recommend it.

As my fifth read by the author, I find his approach consistently enriching. This volume deepens readers’ understanding of Lord Ganesha by exploring the god’s playful nature and its significance in spiritual practice.
Building on the foundation set in the series’ first book, Kreeda Khanda celebrates joy as an integral part of spirituality. Awalgaonkar’s storytelling is captivating, bringing Ganesha’s adventures to life with vibrant illustrations that visually enrich the text. A unique feature is the questionnaire at the end of each chapter, which is especially beneficial for children, encouraging reflection and fostering critical thinking.
Awalgaonkar’s ability to blend engaging narratives with spiritual insights makes this book appealing to both devoted followers and newcomers to Hindu mythology, leaving readers with a sense of joy and a deeper understanding of Ganesha’s teachings.

Now, in Parenting Strategies Unplugged, Nair dives into the realm of parenting, offering thoughtful insights into the challenges parents face today.
This book is a collection of anecdotes from the author's extensive experience, addressing issues such as digital obsession, lack of focus, and children's emotional well-being. Each story offers practical solutions and guidance, provoking reflection on both past and future parenting practices.
Shibu Nair emphasizes building strong, trusting relationships with children, and nurturing their emotional well-being and life skills. However, the book could benefit from more thorough editing to remove repetitive content, which detracts from its overall impact.
Despite this flaw, the book stands out for its fresh perspectives on modern parenting and is a valuable companion for parents and educators.

This collection is deeply inspirational, shedding light on many unsung heroines whose contributions often go unnoticed.
Despite my extensive reading, I discovered numerous new achievements and aspects. These women faced immense hardships and paved the way for future generations. Their stories underscore the hard-won freedoms we enjoy today. Sridevi’s debut is a commendable effort, and this book is highly recommended for anyone interested in learning about the formidable women who have shaped India.

Sri Ganesha Purana - Simplified: Part 1 Upaasna Khanda by Ishwar Joshi Awalgaonkar is an enlightening and accessible retelling of a vital Hindu text. Having read three of Awalgaonkar’s previous works, I had high expectations, and this book did not disappoint.
It simplifies the extensive narratives and rich symbolism of the Ganesha Purana, making it easy to understand while preserving its grandeur. The book highlights Lord Ganesha’s roles and offers lessons in resilience, faith, and devotion. The inclusion of the Sahastra Nama enhances spiritual practice, and beautiful illustrations add a visual dimension.
Clear and focused, it is suitable for both adults and younger readers exploring Hindu mythology. I recommend it.

Lewis.
The plot follows the Pevensie children and their cousin Eustace, who return to Narnia to search for lost Lords and embark on a mystical journey.
While the premise showed promise, the execution fell short with shallow characterization and inconsistent pacing. The journey lacked excitement and failed to connect with the readers.
Though the first two movie adaptations were my favorites, this book made continuing the series seem unworthy without the presence of Peter and Susan.
C.S. Lewis hinted at more adventures, but my enthusiasm for the series has waned.

Pancholy's debut work is a valuable addition to the young adult genre with its relatable protagonist, authentic storytelling, and genuine emotional depth. The story follows twelve-year-old Rahul Kapoor, an Indian American boy navigating the complexities of middle school.
Rahul's character is richly developed, and readers easily connect with his vulnerabilities, fears, and triumphs. The author skillfully explores themes of self-acceptance, identity, and cultural challenges. The book also sensitively portrays Rahul's exploration of his sexual identity. Overall, it's a touching and meaningful novel that will resonate with readers.

You can teach your kids about different customs related to Diwali, as the author provides beautiful illustrations mentioning distinct aspects of this festival.

Still, I think it is for every reader who is interested in Hinduism or wants to learn about Devi (Goddess) and her nine different forms. And what is a better time to read this book, if not during the Navratri festival?
The book offers information about Devi's origin, how she annihilates evil periodically, and how anyone can seek her blessings. It is divided into short sections, so you can read this book to your kids at once or pick a chapter of your choice as well.
A book like this one will be an excellent beginning for you to discuss the topic of women empowerment and teach your children about a spirited, fearless, and robust female figure. In addition, they will learn about Navratri and comprehend Hindu ideology too. So, I highly recommend this book.

The whole concept of this book revolves around saving the environment, and it is one of a kind book that I read this year and enjoyed immensely.
Of course, it is the best book for your child to make them understand the environmental issues we're facing, but I suggest everyone should read this book because many of us are still living in a bubble where these subjects don't exist, but they are, trust me.
This fast-paced book provides insights, and pearls of wisdom, with a philosophical touch. I highly recommend it.

The plot is based on revealing the secrets of the town they lived in. The boys' curiosity leads them to unveil an age-old rivalry between two royal brothers.
Boone's father, Crom, is an alcoholic. He beats his son and wife, Jane, daily. Jacque is a fostered child living with Dontin's family and Boone's neighbor. While Boone comes from a low-income family, Jacque's foster parents are wealthy and consider themselves superior to everyone else. For them, Jacque is nobody; they fostered him to make a good impression on other people. Jacque and Boone both have their fair share of pain in the story, and I feel sad for them, but after a certain point, they just disappoint me.
In starting, the story kept me hooked with the fairy tale part and character building, but soon it all goes down. This book is not for everyone, and I certainly do not recommend it to kids/teens, but if you do like offensive, erogenous, intense descriptions from a child or an adult's perspective, you can read it.

The problems that I have with this book -
1. The narration is boring and dull. 2. Characters are irritable and have no growth whatsoever. 3. The siblings show no maturity, even though they grew old in Narnia in the first book, chronologically wise. 4. Aslan's character seems out of the place because there is no solid reason for his coming or going on different occasions. 5. The author needlessly stretched the story with useless descriptions.
