This one has been on my Kindle for ages. I read some NA/YA but not a lot as the characters sometimes annoy me with their immaturity. I know, I know, I am 30 years older than the characters, I should give them some slack!! But I think if an author is THAT good she can transcend the "age" thing and reach out to all audiences, no matter what age they are.


Of course this one had a music theme, which is right up my alley!



But seventeen is an inconvenient time to be in love …



I really did not read many reviews before starting this one. I knew it was supposed to be heartbreaking. Honestly, I don't think I would have started it if the second book had not been available for me to dive straight in to.


A really good read. I will be checking out more by this author.

Ellie I liked this one, Mo, but the sequel is my favourite YA/NA romance. Hope you will enjoy them both :)

Ingie It'll be interesting to hear (read) your thoughts about these books.
I bought them (paperback .. translated) a few years ago after I heard several (young people) talk about them and that they were so great (both heartwarming and pretty sad), but then they were just left lying here.

I will try and review tonight, after work. But I really liked the first one and am stuck in the second one too. I know I steer away from NA but if it is well written, with mature characters, I can handle it. And there is music ... and I love my music.

Ingie Beautiful review, Mo! I feel a bit like you about YA and teen books but I guess (after all good raitings etc) even I should try to read these books. Everyone seams to like them. :)

I find they can be hit and miss for me but really liked this series.

It is! At least here in the states it's already on Blu Ray/DVD. If you want the soundtrack with Adam's band it's on iTunes I believe :)
