What did I not like, that's hard to phrase really because there was so much. The victim quietly accepted her role. Forget the girl had been drugged, kidnapped and later raped, she just accepts everything, compartmentalized the horrific events and falls for her captor. Yes this is a dark romance and everyone is going to fall for Jillian and the brand of bullshit he's selling, but lets get real people. If you'd seen your high school heart throb get beaten, taken from your home, isolated from family and friends stolen away from everything you'd ever known, tell me you wouldn't fight? Tell me you would become that brainwash, pathetic, love struck girl? So no, for me this was a no go. Maybe I'm so jaded from reading other abduction novels I couldn't appreciate the story.
