I wanted to speed up my reading even more, and I found a course online. Awesome! And Alice in Wonderland was the recommended read. Even a bigger yay, right? I've seen the cartoon, I liked the cartoon. I'm sure I'm gonna love the book it's based on.
Except this has to be the strangest book that's ever been written (and this comes from someone who regularly scans through A Clockwork Orange because I like how fucked up it is. I'm weird, but that's not the point).
As I see it, the whole book is supposed to be a metaphor about growing up, learning unusual things and creating your own opinions/finding yourself (Alice says things like "I'm not the same girl I was this morning" that make me draw this conclusion). But it's just so infuriating. Because yes, she goes on this adventure, and she sees and learns things. But what are those things?
IT'S ALL JUST GIBBERISH. At least it reminded me why I stay away from classics. Cause most of them are crazy af.

It was going to bother me if I didn't say anything. I'm glad I got that off my chest.
(and yes, my obsession with sense8 continues)
