I wish this wasn't the end of the trilogy! But I have to say this was my favorite of all three books! The Audible versions of this trilogy is amazing! There is a full cast and sound effects. It makes me feel closer to the characters for sure. I'm going to re/read all three books when my physical copy gets here. Well, I'm going to try to this year. I just don't want them to end so I want to re visit them back to back. This book did bring some tears to my eyes and a few good laughs. I love it so much! ❤️
If you love space opera's or just damn good books, I think you will love this trilogy! I don't see how you can't 😄
I was hoping for a purple cover or a green cover, but I will love you dear cover, all the same 😊

Duuuuude! I have to get the audio anyway, for my collection, but if the delivery takes too long to get to the bookshop tomorrow, I might start listening first, too.
Yeah, BN is so slow. Not like Amazon, I would have gotten it today. But I order online so the special edition BN will be here Friday. The audio rocks of course! I have these books in my Audible collection. The only thing is I don't like the way they are not saying the whole cuss words. They are like bleeping them out but it's not a bleep just a cut off. I don't remember that in the other books but maybe I'm crazier than I thought. Anyway, I pay for a whole book and I want a whole book. It's causing some problems listening. They are doing it with the word crap too. I might have to call audible and ask 🙄
I'd say the bleeping would be where there are blacked-out areas in the transcript (ie. the printed edition), and I do remember them doing that in the other audios.
I don't remember it. It said something like be aware of a lot of cussing coming up and it was like fade fade fade he she fade fade what the f...... cra..... sh.... I don't like it. Because I'm in a big cussing zone. Lol.
Yeah, but if you look at the previous physical books, they have a briefing note warning about swearing, too, and the relevant words are blacked out/censored.
Huh, I will have to get my books out. This one must have had a lot more cussing for me to notice. Because this one section was a whole Of of cussing and blanking. I got lost for a minute. Lol. Oh and a couple of words go through which should be blanked too if you're going to black something as lame as crap. Oh well. It's still awesome 😄
Maybe the word they're blanking isn't "crap" though? :P

I'm going down the street to get my copy tomorrow, and I have the whole day off, so that's where it's all going. :P I'm just hoping they get their delivery early in the day rather than late.
But I have given myself a rule that I have to write and schedule reviews for books I've read through Feb before I can go get it... so working on those now. :P
I don't buy books from the store as I only leave house for doctor and a couple of places on those days. I would have got my Amazon copy this evening from UPS but they didn't have the exclusive edition and BN shipping is slow like everyone else. Target is pretty good on shipping.

I remember they used to just fade the swearing but this time around they cut them off, you can't hear them.
I hear the first part and if someone is saying a bunch at once it's like a bunch of garbled stuff. I still love the book but I don't like my books being censored. If you're wanting a kids book, then write some kids books with no cuss words. Just sayin' 😏
I need to get to this 3rd one! I buddy-read the first two, (then last summer barely read anything while my son was hospitalized), so I need to get to this one. I hope you continue to enjoy it!!
You should get the BN exclusive edition. I'm waiting on that hardback to get here. It won't be until Friday but I had pre-ordered on audio as well with one of my credits as I love the audio's of these books! 😊

I need to read this series! ❤️😭 I've been unsure if I should read it for a long time now. Now that the third book is out, I think I'll just take the plunge and read it 😂 I'm not usually a science fiction type of person but I'll give it a try. ☺️
